Revdex.com:
What the owner says is not trueAt least some of itHe has sets that he has at a year warranty and then there are some that are t years at the time I purchased the setIts not that I didn't have the money, I just didn't want to spend that much on used appliancesi purchased a dryer that I love at Lowes for $brand newwhen I asked him if I would still get the year warranty he said oh no that extra money the $is for the warranty so I couldn't give you that but I can give you a 6month warrantyOk that is fine with meBUT you actually have to be afraid to call him when you have the warrantyHe gives you grief about itHis words when we called and told him the sound he said he fixed is still there he said I am not coming out for thatDo I have a warranty or not? Do I have to fight with him to get service? He did offer me a refund and that is not why I refused because there is nothing wrong with the machinesIt is because my daughter is alone without much help and if I go to get another one I would have to find a way to get the machines there and carry them down and his deal was DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION IS INCLUDED IN THE COSTSo this is not a courtesy warranty at all It is included in the receipt and not verbalMy message to him is I am afraid because I have this feeling that he really isn't knowledgeable out repair but makes most of his money by sellingI am not looking for money but I am not going to pay and have receipt for warranty and be told I am not doing iti usually have to do the calling because my daughter is intimidated by him and I am notI will accept the warranty if he is going to honor it when and if I need itIf not then I will contact the attorney generalI really don't want to hear I am not etcIf you look at the other complaint it is exactly what I complained abouthe tells the customer that he is doing something wrong like he moved the food out of the way for the vent .said it was blocking it and that was the problem customer found out it wasn't the problembut then would not service him again or wanted to charge him again ?I would be willing to let him honor my warranty but he has taken a lot of it away since he refused to come and I think I deserve another monthI will wait for his reply

Revdex.com spoke to John at business and the following was relayed: Every ad states that our charge to do a repair is $50. We do no charge a service fee. cool down. She decided she was only going to pay $50. We decided to just accept it and move on. She called later about parts which she was informed that parts cost extra.

We sell washers and dryers for $550 a set. This customer was buying for her daughter, they didn't have a lot of money to spend, so I discounted a set for $400. That is the price they paid as quoted, I write it up showing sales tax, because I have to pay the state, otherwise they would have paid $400...

+ $35 tax. We haven't given a 2 year warranty in a while, it is only 1 year now for the $550 selling price, based on the industry standard. This is a courtesy warranty, as I don't have to provide any. Because I discounted their purchase, I gave them a courtesy 6 month warranty. There is no dollar figure for the warranty, as it is a courtesy warranty, not a paid extended warranty.  I did go and look at the dryer as they said they heard a humming. I could not hear the sound, but did disconnect the buzzer at their request. I have offered a full refund, and I would remove the units, but they did not want that because there is nothing wrong with the units. If they desire, I am still willing to give them their full refund and I will take the units back, but they have to decide by this Friday 3/23/18. Otherwise, I am still honoring their warranty through the 6 months.
