Review: I placed a banjo on consignment with Buffalo Brothers on Jan. 28, 2013. The banjo was sold and my net proceeds (after their commission) were $1,800.
To date, I have received two payments totaling $900. I have received no subsequent payments despite several letters, phone calls and emails.Desired Settlement: I want a cashier's check for $900 sent to my address immediately

Response:
[redacted]-
In reference to ID#[redacted]
The current owners of Buffalo Guitars purchased and took over the business of
Buffalo Brothers Guitars in April 2013. Unfortunately, at the time of
purchase, many existing liabilities of the former business were not disclosed
to the new owners. Buffalo Guitars is working diligently to identify and
satisfy any outstanding balances of the former business, caused by the
transfer of ownership.
We are currently reviewing this referenced contract and have had contact with
the client to resolve any determined delinquency on this contract, However he
does not like how long it is taking us to resolve this mater. He had placed 2
items on consignment with the previous owner and we have shipped him back his
second item, a Deering banjo per his request and are working to resolve his
remaining $855.00 balance due.

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
1. I do not dispute the facts of the case presented by [redacted]. The facts she related are in line with a telephone conversation I had in December with [redacted], owner of the establishment. I have no reason to doubt them.
2. The amount owed is indeed $855. I had forgotten that shipping of my other banjo was deducted.
3. My rejection is based on timing: I was assured by Mr. [redacted] that two payments would be forthcoming, in January and February, to clear up this debt. It is now April and I have seen no payment of any kind.
4. I would accept this response upon payment in full.
Regards,
