I would like a partial refund for the poor service I receivedI would like basic phone support for the amount of business I do with them

I was not abusive towards Mr. Joseph [redacted], but was angry with his insulting and demeaning comments, which have occurred several times in the past when in the store and over the phone trying to give him business. I tried to work with his difficult, unwelcoming, and unappreciative personality in the past. In an obviously futile effort to establish and good customer-business rapport, I even took the time and trouble to bring in a historic document about some notable WNY individuals and road bearing his surname. This latest incident with Joe was just the final straw. They had just serviced the computer a couple days before the call in question. The service cost me more than the retail value of the computer, and I didn't feel I should have to bring it back in to get an answer about a scam attempt that was happening in real time as I was already on the phone with Joe. I did not try to manipulate anyone into taking the seller's position or contacting [redacted] on my behalf. I believe this is a false claim. As far as the time on the phone, most of this was taken by them explaining their theories on and knowledge of computer issues, and less on addressing my direct questions in layman's terms. I frequently needed to defend my lack of knowledge about computers, which was the very reason I gave them my business in the first place! It felt like dealing with an arrogant car mechanic, only geekier. I find it interesting that Joe never complained to me about my demeanor over the last few years I have been patronizing their business; only now when I filed with the Revdex.com. He is obviously trying to turn the tables to cover himself and justify his poor attitude. The issue is mainly with Joe and not Shaun [Sean?], and the former's inaccurate response and condescending treatment, which should have given me pause long ago, will result in my doing business elsewhere, and recommending against anyone patronizing their establishment.Based on the truthful l statements in this and my initial complaint, I request that Revdex.com take appropriate action with respect to this business. In my experienced and educated view, Joe's level of customer respect and appreciation does not earn the credibility a Revdex.com affiliation purports to bring.

recently on his new computer. This claim is not in dispute.W do not provide virus and malware removal over the telephone. Regardless of a customers status as a former paying customer we are unable to diagnose and remove infections over the phone. I told him he would have to bring the computer in for it to be serviced and he refused insisting that I must take care of his problem over the telephone. When I explained that this is not a service that we provide he became angry and abusive with me and I chose to terminate the call. We have provided this customer with several hours of telephone support on issues and questions that Mr. [redacted] raised. These were often very long phone calls seeking advice regarding his purchase of this computer from [redacted] In these telephone calls he would often become contentious and appear to be trying to manipulate Buffalo  Computers into taking the position of the seller. At one point he asked that we contact [redacted] Technicians and take up his argument with them. When we declined he stated that he thought we would welcome the challenge.Buffalo Computers tries to provide the highest quality service possible but we cannot meet the demands of everyone, particularly if they refuse to make the computer available to us to diagnose and repair the problem.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I am in receipt of your letter dated March 1, 201 8 and the following is my response to the issues raised therein. As I stated in my original response; the customer states that he had work done recently on his new computer. This claim is not in dispute. I am skeptical of his claim that the services he purchased from Buffalo Computers, Inc. exceeded the retail value of the computer we serviced. The services he purchased from Buffalo Computers, Inc. included 4 GB of DDR3 memory and Malware and Virus Cleaning amounted to $123.98. I don't know of an available laptop computer that is currently available for under this amount. His claim that we refused to provide him with assistance with a scam attempt that was occurring at the time of his telephone call is not true. I told Mr. [redacted] that he would have to bring the computer into the store for service. He insisted that I should fix it over the telephone. As I  stated before Buffalo Computers, Inc. does not provide virus and malware removal over the telephone. Regardless of a customers status as a former paying customer we are unable to diagnose and remove infections over the phone. I told him he would have to bring the computer in for it to be serviced and he refused insisting that I must take care of his problem over the telephone. When I explained that this is not a service that we provide he became angry and abusive with me and I chose to terminate the call.I can  only restate that we have provided this customer with several hours of telephone support on issues and questions that Mr. [redacted] raised. These were often very long phone calls seeking advice regarding his purchase of this computer from [redacted] In these telephone calls he would often become contentious with either myself or Shaun, who also works at Buffalo Computers, Inc., and appear to be trying to manipulate Buffalo Computers staff into taking the position of [redacted] and somehow defend the sale of the computer to him. As I stated before he even tried to get Shaun to contact [redacted] Technicians and take up his argument with them. When he declined be stated that he thought we would welcome the challenge. This man was extremely rude and demanding to both Buffalo Computer staff members. Most of the hours long conversations were totally outside of the realm of services we normally provide and were therefore very difficult and unpleasant to participate in.Shaun [redacted] took most of these calls and with true determination tried to have a positive outcome each time. He gently confronted Mr. [redacted] several times with the fact that he was insulting him and demeaning his technical skills. This was not successful however, as it did nothing to affect change in Mr. [redacted] 's behavior. It is obvious that Buffalo Computers, Inc. cannot meet Mr. [redacted]'s Computer service requirements at this time. We are unable venture into providing telephone Virus Removal Services now or anytime in the foreseeable future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.Joseph [redacted] Buffalo Computers
