Once again the electric bills run two months behind, therefore when a customer checks out there final bill is not know at that timeSome customers call or comeback and pay their final electric bills and they do get the full refund backIf they do not return to pay the bill it is subtracted from their depositIn this case it was subtracted from the depositBuffalo Hills does refund the deposits that are due to the customers who do not have outstanding billsI can not legally give names of the refunded customers but It does get refundedAlso the customers upon check in sign a Membership contract stating they are responsible for the electric bills

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be SLIGHTLY satisfactory to me.According to their response, I was surprised that I could even cancel the membership. I have tried multiple times to cancel and have been told that was not an option. As far as a "section 10: Default" on the Purchase Agreement, that information is not listed on my copy. If there was a second page, it was never given. I would like some reimbursement from last year to this year. I would at least be satisfied for this year only. Nevertheless, since "my payments will become liquidated", I will probably have to chalk it up as a lesson learned and warn others. I could have saved money, since cancellation was an option. I feel that I was lied to and completely mislead. A letter will be sent to the company to cancel the membership. Thank you for prompt attention.Regards,

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My husband stayed at this resort while working for 3 months.  The first payment was for $850.00, which included $650.00 for rent & utilities and $200.00 for deposit.  The second payment was for $650.00 which included utilities.  The third payment was for $817.89, which included rent & utilities.  He had paid each month and the final of any utilities owed , so therefore he should have received his deposit back.  They never contacted him saying he owed any more money.  If he did they should have told him before he left the resort or contacted him by phone or mail.  There were several other workers staying at this resort and no one received their deposit back nor were they contacted.  There is no telling how many people they rip off.  We never try to get out of paying anything if due, but when there is no communication or response to calls and they hang up on you makes you feel that they are just taking your money.  we nor will any other the others we know working in that area will ever stay at their resort again and they are currently working in that area now.  They have very poor communicate skills and notification of anything, so they should be kept on the Revdex.com complaints list.  Regards,[redacted]

I was not here at the time the Free trip was offered, however it usually states the rules and regulations in fine print. With out seeing the offer I would not be able to address the issue.  I do not know who or why there would be a promise of a covered pool. The Pool is an Olympic sized out...

door pool and it would be very costly to enclose or cover. Horse back riding is offered at our Bed and Breakfast 15 minutes away. We did not have enough people interested in horse back riding and it was too costly to haul the horses back and forth. The Bed and Breakfast has a nice horse trail and the horses are taken care of at the farm there. As far as the ATV rentals, we did offer it at one time and there was an accident and the person tried to sue us therefore our insurance agency said no more ATV rentals at the camp ground. The camp ground has a large area to maintain and keep up with. We have had many people say the grounds look better than ever. As far as your membership you can cancel it at any time, all you have to do is send a letter and request the membership contract to be canceled. If you look at your Purchase Agreement under (section 10: Default) it sates The contract can be terminated in writing and the seller will retain any sums already paid by purchaser as liquidated.

I show that the customer stayed on lot #**. When a lot is rented we charge a $200.00 deposit for the electric charges. Once we receive the electric bills (they run 2 months behind) for the lot we total up the amount of electric payment that is due, subtract what or if the customer has paid to the...

electric bills owed. Then subtract the remaining balance due from the $200.00 deposit amount. In this case the electric bills we received are as followsFrom 6/20/14 - 7/20/14 was $182.09From 7/20/14- 8/20/14 was $167.89from 8/20/14 - 9/20/14 was $ 48.03  Which comes out to $398.01.  I show the customer left at the end of September.  The customer only paid one electric bill in the amount of $167.89. Therefore when you subtract $167.89 from the $398.01 it leaves a balance of $230.12. Then you subtract the $230.12 from the $200.00 deposit for the electric and you have that the customer still owes the amount of $30.12.  We in turn write this balance off since the customer has already left the park.Due to the electric company billing the electric bills the way they do, we have to charge the deposit for the electric bill that do not get paid at the end of a stay. When a customer is due the refund of a partial or full amount we do send out the refunds as soon as we get them entered. I have never spoken to this customer or heard of a complaint from them.
