Here is my prompt reply to complaint number [redacted] lodged by *** [redacted] who resides at [redacted] RD [redacted] NY ***As you can see in your complaint history file, we have very few complaints come to usThis may be the 2nd complaint in years actuallyThe reason for this is that we strive to make sure that our clients receive more than they paid forOur motto is give first, give most, give oftenBefore any person is accepted into one of our personally customized hypnosis programs to assist them in reaching their personal goal, they must attend a free hypnosis screeningIt is at this screening that we thoroughly explain all aspects of their programThis includes what we will do for them and what is expected of themOur service guarantee explains that we cannot ethically guarantee human behavior, and do not give refunds, but offers extra sessions at no additional cost, regardless of how many are needed The program that [redacted] entered into was for weekly sessions followed by monthly sessionsOur sessions are priced at $per sessionIf a person comes to us for one session $is what we charge for that session The total value for ***'s program if it was to be priced by session would be $4,200, but because he was doing a customized program we greatly discounted the program bringing the total cost to $1477, and we allowed him to pay for his program over time, interest free, tax included (Again, give first, give most, give often.) This means that he would pay for sessions and materials, and the remaining sessions are free of chargeWe offer this huge discount so we can make the program available for a very reasonable cost As the service guarantee states, if they feel they need or would like extra sessions once their program is complete, those sessions are also free of charge We ask every client, whose responsibility is it for you to lose the weight, quit smoking, etc in the very beginningThey all say “well mine.” We can help them, but we cannot make them In our office we have books filled with testimonials from satisfied clients who are more than happy with the service we provide In regard to ***'s claim that the material he received is different than that in the brochureWe explained to him when he received the brochure that the materials that he will receive for the program are packaged differently than the brochure photoHe was well aware of the difference in appearance Please be advised, we are not doctors, we are hypnotist's [redacted] has been told that we are not doctor's but seems to be referring to us as doctors Here is a complete breakdown of [redacted] payment and session history 07/29/1:PM Purchased a customized weight loss program from us including sessions and all materials for $Paid $leaving a balance of $ 07/29/4:PM [redacted] received session 08/05/10:AM [redacted] received session 08/12/11:AM [redacted] received session 08/26/10:AM [redacted] received session 09/02/10:AM [redacted] received session 09/02/( Paid $leaving a balance of $) 09/08/11:AM [redacted] did not show up for his sixth session, we received no prior notice We forgave his no show 09/15/10:AM [redacted] received session 10/01/( Paid $leaving a balance of $) [redacted] never did pay is program in full Of the $due, [redacted] paid $985, leaving a balance of $ [redacted] not only received sessions, but he also didn't show up for one of his sessions without prior notice leaving my staff with an empty chair for that hourWe let his no show go with no consequence Sometime after Mark's 6th session, again without any prior notification [redacted] contacted his credit card company and charged back the money he paid usThis is in my opinion “theft of service.” I disputed the charge back as we did provide the service that [redacted] paid for in good faith Proposed resolution, Even after all that has transpired we are willing to forgive [redacted] of his remaining $balance, and we are also willing to complete his program for him with no additional chargeThis we offer in good faith to once again show that we give first, give most, and give often Our goal is to assist [redacted] in reaching his weight loss goalsShould [redacted] decide to change his current attitude and come in for his sessions with a true desire for change, I believe that he would be successful Respectfully yours, [redacted]

that we strive to make sure that our clients receive more than they
paid for. Our motto is give first, give most, give often. Before any person is accepted into one
of our personally customized hypnosis programs to assist them in
reaching their personal goal, they must attend a free hypnosis
screening. It is at this screening that we thoroughly explain all
aspects of their program. This includes what we will do for them and
what is expected of them. Our service guarantee explains that we
cannot ethically guarantee human behavior, and do not give refunds,
but offers extra sessions at no additional cost, regardless of how
many are needed.
The program that [redacted] entered into was
for 8 weekly sessions followed by 6 monthly sessions. Our sessions
are priced at $300 per session. If a person comes to us for one
session $300 is what we charge for that session.
The total value for [redacted]'s program if
it was to be priced by session would be $4,200, but because he was
doing a customized program we greatly discounted the program bringing
the total cost to $1477, and we allowed him to pay for his program
over time, interest free, tax included.
(Again, give first, give most, give
often.) This means that he would pay for 4
sessions and materials, and the remaining 10 sessions are free of
charge. We offer this huge discount so we can make the program
available for a very reasonable cost.
As the service guarantee states, if
they feel they need or would like extra sessions once their program

We ask every client, whose

Of the $1477 due, [redacted] paid $985, leaving a balance of $492.
[redacted] not only received 6 sessions, but
he also didn't show up for one of his sessions without prior notice
leaving my staff with an empty chair for that hour. We let his no
show go with no consequence.
Sometime after Mark's 6th
session, again without any prior notification [redacted] contacted his
credit card company and charged back the money he paid us. This is in
my opinion “theft of service.”

Proposed resolution,
Even after all that has transpired we
are willing to forgive [redacted] of his remaining $492 balance, and we are
also willing to complete his program for him with no additional
charge. This we offer in good faith to once again show that we give

his weight loss goals. Should [redacted] decide to change his current
attitude and come in for his sessions with a true desire for change,
I believe that he would be successful.
