In August our member *** states she mailed us a Postal Money Order to pay her car payment for JulyWe did not receive it in the US mailOur employee contacted the Post Office on her behalf and they confirmed it had not been cashed, therefore it is lost. The Post Office employee
said *** would have to place a stop payment on itWe contacted *** and told her what the postal worker saidThe receipt *** is referring to in her complaint is the receipt you receive when purchasing a money order*** should have received her money back from the Post Office after placing the stop payment, in accordance with their policiesIf she did, she didn't send it to us for the payment missed.We have mailed *** a schedule of payments we received and her monthly statementsIt shows on her statements all the money withdrawn from her savings account was applied to her loanOn the months *** sent us more than her scheduled payment, the full amount was applied to her loan, which was enough to pay the following months payment.When our employee B*** called *** to let her know we did not receive her payment, that is when we realized her money order was lost in the mailWe have not reported any late payments to the credit bureaus.All withdrawals from savings were applied to her car loan and printed on her monthly statementsThere were no withdrawals in the amount of $from her savings.We have been in contact with *** through email since 2/2/trying to resolve her concerns
