We sell each vehicle with a month mile motor and power train warranty Check engine lights are not covered if the cause does not meet the conditions that the customer signed off on At the time of conversation between Ms [redacted] and the account rep, Ms [redacted] was days past due and the date she was committing to would have incurred a 2nd payment due She was notified that the account was in collection status and that if she paid on the date mentioned that the agent could not guarantee the commitment due to the status of the account Once the account was repossessed the amount that was due was payments (x 2) +late fee+ repo fee = She paid on 11/and 11/and the balance with another payment We did not keep the car until the entire amount was paid in an effort to work with her Thank You [redacted]

We repaired the vehicle and engine on her vehicle which was covered under her powertrain warranty which she received when she purchased her car Please let me know if there is any question or concerns I can address Thanks [redacted] General Manager Third Coast Auto Group ###-###-####

Mrs [redacted] filed a claim for the damage done to the vehicle The adjuster stated that prior damage to the vehicle needed to be fixed before they could fix their damages that was claimedUpon further discussion with the adjuster, they also stated that the cost to fix the prior damages and the new damages would result in a total loss At that point we advised Mrs [redacted] to pursue the check for the damages that she incurred and that we would bring the vehicle to our body shop to access the damages prior to her wreck We did not hear from her again, the timing to get in touch with her insurance adjuster through out this process was extensive however we feel we were doing everything we could to help herWe have made attempts to reach Mrs [redacted] and were unsuccessful

ID # *** The contracts signed by the customer state that the customer is responsible for maintaining insurance that will cover the collateral. We do not have any forms that state after a certain amount of time that we do not require the vehicle to be uninsured. We have the
vehicle in our possession now and to comply with the IRS we do have to report the vehicle as repossessed however we will not report it to any of the three credit bureau agencies Thank You, *** ***

We have a month/ mile warranty that covers the motor and drive train. Brakes, suspension parts and window motors are not covered. If a mechanic is needed we can offer recommendations of some of the mechanics we use We also offer collateral insurance as an
option to the customer. The customer has the option to provide their own insurance to cover the vehicle in lieu of the collateral insurance. As the collateral protection forms signed by the customer states, the collateral insurance only covers damage to the vehicle we are financing. This is not liability insurance required by the state of Texas so the customer is still responsible for that. Once the customer provides their own comprehension and collision insurance we can remove the collateral insurance however they will be responsible for charges prior to obtaining their own insurance. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me.I believe that this business lie to their customers and they only have the vehicles fixed to where they last for only a certain amount of timeits only a matter of time until it goes completely out and im stuck paying for a truck that does not runlike I said before I understand these are used cars and trucks, but to lie to customers and make them believe that these cars and trucks are in great condition and then a few days later everything is going out one by onemy truck turns off while im driving, mind you I have a toddler in this not safe vehicleOf course I know about the warranty , but how is that going to help me when every time I go in all the girls that work there are rude and have no mannersi refuse to do business with this company, I believe its only fair that I get at least half of what I have already paid to take my business else whereThis is so inconvenient and I do not want to do this another years with this unprofessional company! I do not like being threatened by them that they will repo my truck when I was not even a payment behindit was my first payment and I was already being treated like crap I just want to move on with my life and leave them in the past or until someone really investigates them and closes them down! Our contracts state that we finance according to the terms printed, we also do understand when an issue does come up and a customer must pay a few days late.  We asked to be notified ahead of the due date so that we can notate the account.  Once this is done, we fully expect to have the...

customer pay accordingly and will expect the remainder payments on time as the contract states.  If we do not have communication we must and will call the customer.  If we are unable to reach the customer, we will as a last attempt reach out to the references provided by the customer at the time of purchase.We expect to be paid the full amount and in a timely manner as the contract states.  If any of our customers would like to avoid any phone calls they must pay on or before the due date.  We also provide online or automated phone options if any customer would like to pay without coming into our location.  Ultimately, if the payments are made on time we make it very easy to pay without having any needto speak with any of our representatives. Thank You- [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: the vehicle was never repoed I took the vehicle voluntarily and they kept saying that if I returned the vehicle they would have to contact the Irs so I had to pay back taxes, they intimated me and should Have not used that kind of manners to their customers I would like to get some money back for all the trouble they caused me.

We tried to help Mrs. [redacted], she had repairs that we allowed her to pay us on an interest free basis because she did not have the full amount up front.  We also cannot just change a contract with out making sure a customer can abide to the new terms.  She had a job change in June and was...

told to bring paystubs not in April as noted by the customer.  We did not change her date, the payments made were later than the change Mrs. [redacted] was requesting.  September 15th the vehicle was repossessed and we allowed Mrs. [redacted] to take possession with 2/3 of what was due in order to help her and make arrangements for the balance.  On 9/27 we repossessed the automobile again.  Mrs. [redacted] never came through with her promise and ultimately she had another payment as well.  We made attempts to reach her to see if we could find out when she might be able to pay however we were unsuccessful in reaching her.  She finally contacted us on 9/30 to pick up her personal items.    I feel that her complaint was inaccurate and that we did what we could in order to help Mrs. [redacted].   Thank You,   [redacted]

due and the date she was committing to would have incurred a  2nd payment due.  She was notified that the account was in collection status and that if she paid on the date mentioned that the agent could not guarantee the commitment due to the status of the account.  Once the account was repossessed the amount that was due was 2 payments (182.99 x 2) 365.998 +9.15 late fee+ 162.38 repo fee = 537.51.  She paid 400.00 on 11/24 and 100 11/25 and the balance with another payment.  We did not keep the car until the entire amount was paid in an effort to work with her.   Thank You   [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: Y'all 
lie so much to cover up the bull.  I payed and y'all picked up the car.  Why is is when some one is late you don't give them time.  I sent them check stubs to Her phone and I dropped them off in person.  She lied like she did change it and her as didn't.  So everytime she called I asked.  I told her I had been sick.  It should not have been repoed the first time . I gave y'all everything I had to get the car back and a week later y'all took it.   Don't be on here lying.  I can get a few people y'all did wrong.  Now I have no car and I can't even get to y'all to get my stuff . I will not pay for 2 repoes when y'all came and drove the car off.  I gave all my money and y'all ripped me off.  I payed for more then half of the repairs and was still paying and y'all ripped me off.  Some of the stuff was broke before u sold the car.  If need to talk to me call me at ###-###-####.
