Review: I purchased a 1975 [redacted] from [redacted] of BugEyeGuys.com. In addition to having no mechanical records, varying odometer reading listings (on title, bill of sale, and car itself) the car was also not as advertised; the car has a number of rust spots, an oil leak, slave cylinder leak, and a breach in the gas tank. Many of the guages do not work as the car has electrical problems and needs a rheostat switch. The car reeks of gas and oil and I've been notified by a mechanic that it needs a new gas tank, slave cylinder, rheostat switch, and oil cap and line.This following passage is taken directly from the advertisement: This car is very solid. The engine is clean and starts right up and runs strong with great oil pressure. All the gauges work. Nothing sounds quite like a [redacted], and this one has had extensive engine upgrades with all new carbs and a mean four-tip performance exhaust. The car is a joy to drive, and ready to drive anywhere today.Desired Settlement: [redacted] may or may not have known about all these issues. I should have had car checked before I bought it, but he claimed the car was "great" and advertised it as such. When I expressed concerns over the cars odometer reading, rust spots, and fume smell, he became irate and told me he didn't want me to contact him ever again. Because he falsely advertised this car which needs between $800-$1000 worth of work, and because a gas leak is potentially very dangerous, I would like a $500 refund.
