I did not accept the response from Builders Green because it does not completely address all of the outstanding issuesThere is much more to the complaint than what was addressedHowever, after not accepting the first response from Builders Green, one of the owners ( [redacted] ) did contact me to work towards a solutionIt is apparent from speaking with him that neither one of us has the complete story from their officeWhile [redacted] stated that he was currently out of town, we did discuss setting up a time for him to visit the property to see the issues for himselfThis first discussion to arrange a meeting time was supposed to happen in the a.mon Thursday 8/It is now 7:a.m., Friday 9/I never received a call or voicemail, email, text, or any type of correspondence from [redacted] or anyone at Builders Green

Builders Green Remodeling of product ineligibility for Skylight Type requested by consumer? CAFirst provides special financing via strict product eligibility requirements per scope of workThe Home Improvement Contract between Builders Green Remodeling and consumer did include skylights, which were installed, however; due to financing agreement with CAFirst, products installed had to meet eligibility requirements and be Energy Star Certified ? Along with correspondence from CAFirst Account manager , [redacted] , I have also attached email correspondence ? between? Builders Green Remodeling Sales Rep and Consumer, in which our sales rep acknowledges consumer’s concerns and requests and informs consumer of his awaiting approval from CAFirst for skylight type being requested ? I acknowledge not being more proactive in obtaining response from CAFirst ? but this was due to high volume of business and not as an intentional dismissal of consumer’s requests ? Unfortunately none of the dates given by the customer are accurate, [redacted] first contacted Mr [redacted] on 8/28, which was to inform him of his being out of town until Thurs, 9/on 9/ [redacted] left a message to Mr [redacted] , returning his call and requesting that Mr [redacted] return his call, [redacted] never received a call back ON 8/Mr [redacted] contacted [redacted] around noon which happened to be a day off for [redacted] and [redacted] promised to get back to Mr [redacted] on 9/, which [redacted] did but got no answer On 9/ [redacted] got a call from Mr [redacted] and set up a meeting for 9/ at 330pm at the property to go over Mr [redacted] s complaints/concerns As mentioned to The Revdex.com in first letter, as a reputable company we would not go against the law to accommodate Mr [redacted] but at this point we are trying to make arrangements with financing company, California first, to allow an exception and give us one time approval on non -eligible products, to be installed and financed by them Message was left to M [redacted] today around approx5pm by our legal department, notifying Mr [redacted] of pending approval from California firstRegarding other concerns Mr [redacted] has, they will be null and void if skylights are replaced so at this time they are not being addressed until we receive approval/denied from California FirstPlease let us know if there are any other questions or concerns and we will be happy to assist you in a timely manner, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have asked for items that I still have not receivedFor instance, the original quote for the incorrect skylightsHow they were ordered, measured, purchased, etcI have also asked for the quote pertaining to the replacement skylights that Builders Green claims to have already ordered, and all of the same information requested previouslyAdditionally, the last time I had any correspondence with the companies attorney I specifically asked for a quote on the other skylights that are made by a company in NY (this information was offered by [redacted] when he came to the property, and at that time there was no reference to them not being approvedOnly that they were too expensive)What I wanted to know is the real cost difference between the two types of skylightsSince the skylights need to be repurchased anyway due to incorrect sizingIf we knew the actual cost of both types, we may be able to reach an agreement on splitting the cost differenceI'm not sure why Builders Green continues to withhold these critical pieces of information that could lead to the matter being settledIn the mean time, the [redacted] Department has performed the final inspection of the roof and it did not pass the inspectionThey have been sent a copy of the failed inspection form with the list of items to repairFinally, I'm concerned that this matter has been strung along enough to approach the rain seasonIf the failed inspection items are not corrected in a timely manner, before it starts to rain regularly, unnecessary water damage to the home and its interior are likely to occur Regards, [redacted]
