I do not accept this response from Ideal Homes because they STILL have not apologized for the way my
husband and I were treated and the way Ideals employees *** and *** made us feelA few other reasons are listed below: our insurance agent traveled out to the subject home so we could receive a quote for insuranceTheir builder, *** at Ideal Homes mentioned that "Ideal was losing a lot of money on this house..there are a lot of things wrong with it"THis incident in itself proves that we were not wrong in pointing out some concerns and questions we had regarding the construction of the homeWhat is even more evident of their hostility toward us was now that the home is relisted on the website; the home is now ten thousand more than what we originally planned on paying for itWhich indicates that Ideal was not pleased with losing more and more money by correcting our "suggestions and concerns"Furthermore, when we mentioned we were not going to use their mortgage company "Citywide Mortgage" the employees at Ideal seemed to not want to hear anything we had to say and build a relationship and rapport with usAdditionally, the day that *** called us to tell us that we were "released from the contract", I asked him if he was redlining us and he said:"yes, we are redlining you." He kept stating that we were argumentative and hostile, when in fact we were struggling to understand why we were dropped as we had already moved outthis is a natural human response when someone loses a home over an argument that has no merit or sincerityEven when receiving communication and correspondence from executives of Ideal, they seem to lack remorse and accountability of how they made potential clients (us) feelIn fact, they mentioned that "they hardly do this type of thing"The entire debate regarding the home in subject was Ideal Homes and their employees pointing the finger at us and manipulating and orchestrating the issue in their favor

Thank you for bringing the matter of the consumer rebuttal to our attentionWe take these matters very seriouslyOur company has built a strong reputation over the past years and is consistently recognized as a leader in our industry and as respected member of our local communityIdeal Homes has customer satisfaction ratings among the top percent of Builders in North AmericaIt is our desire to resolve any and all customer issues
After reviewing consumer rebuttal in detail, the position of our organization has not changed from our initial response
To repeat our position: It is the opinion of our organization that the events described by the consumer's original complaint and subsequent rebuttal do not accurately reflect the circumstances that led to the release of the consumer's contractBased on an interaction with one of our valued team members on July 17th, Ideal Homes exercised a rarely used provision within the signed purchase agreement which states (in part):
BBuyer acknowledges and agrees that if in Seller's sole discretion Seller determines that Buyer has been uncooperative, interfered with Seller's construction of the dwelling or otherwise engaged in inappropriate actions, Seller may elect to terminate this agreement, whereupon the earnest money will be returned to Buyer and the parties will have no further rights and obligations hereunder
The buyer in question displayed actions that were deemed uncooperative and inappropriateThese actions include but are not limited to disrespectful language directed at a team member, inappropriate allegations directed at a team member, attempts to intimidate a team member with an aggressive tone of voice and body language, and an overall disregard for the quality assurance process being performed on their home prior to closing
It was determined by the leadership of our organization that the contract would be released with full earnest money refunded in an effort to prevent additional employees from being subjected to similar inappropriate behavior from the individuals in question
The Consumer's desired resolution will not be considered based on the circumstances of their release from contract
