Dear Revdex.com, We do not agree, with MR [redacted] ***'s complaint! Our flooring is not defective, and is sold on a daily basis, throughout our retail locationsIt is all first quality, and fullywarrantedThe manufacturer is [redacted] HARDWOOD FLOORING, Montreal, CanadaUpon receiving concerns from MR [redacted] and the homeowner *** [redacted] , we immediately, made the appointment to visit the job to inspect the flooringMR [redacted] was asked to attend the meeting by *** [redacted] , and he failed to comeSince he bought the flooring, and had one of his employees install the flooring, he should have come to the meetingWhat we found There are sections of the subfloor, pieces to be exact, that should be replaced, and refastened, some of it is wet , and rottedThis will insure a level floor, and a proper installationFlooring needs to have a 1/inch gap from the wall for proper expansionThe proper fasteners must be used to install Hardwood Flooring, not finish nailsSpacing of the fasteners is also proper protocolPictures will be forth coming to substantiate, our inspectionYou need to have a level subfloor before you, install the HardwoodsThe home owners concern, with the end match being darker, is the staining process, and not the wood being unevenThis was explained to *** [redacted] the day we went to the job, and MR [redacted] did not show up***, contacted [redacted] ***, and said she would like to keep the flooring, and have another company install itThis is why we did not refund her moneyApparently she did not convey this to MR [redacted] ***,and this is the reason, for him saying we did not refund the customers moneyWe are sending the attachment, with her correspondence , to MR [redacted] ***We have done what we were asked to do by the customer and MR [redacted] ***, we inspected the job, and installation does not meet the standards of the industry, Sincerely Builders Surplus

concerns from MR [redacted] and the homeowner [redacted], we immediately, made the appointment to visit the job to inspect the flooring. MR [redacted] was asked to attend the meeting by [redacted], and he failed to come. Since he bought the flooring, and had one of his employees install the flooring, he should have come to the meeting. What we found.   There are sections of the subfloor, 3 pieces to be exact, that should be replaced, and refastened, some of it is wet , and rotted. This will insure a level floor, and a proper installation. Flooring needs to have a 1/4 inch gap from the wall for proper expansion. The proper fasteners must be used to install Hardwood Flooring, not finish nails. Spacing of the fasteners is also proper protocol. Pictures will be forth coming to substantiate, our inspection. Dear Revdex.com,  We contacted Mr [redacted], and made appointment to visit job.  The day was February 28 th 2017.   We arrived at job 2:30 pm afternoon. Met with Mr [redacted], and his father.   With in 2 hours we were able to find a resolution that all parties...
