BuildSense just completed a nearly yearlong renovation/addition project for my family Their work is superb They came in on budget We are now living in the house of our dreams, in the neighborhood we love and have lived in for 30+ years it was a pleasant experience from start to finish to work with the BuildSense crew This is a special, amazing company I cannot recommend them highly enough

Totally didn't even try to stick our budget the design they submitted was way over. Admittedly we had asked for changes as we went along but also asked repeatedly how those changes would impacting the final price and they would never give an answer. After we saw the final price we asked them to work with us to find a way to pricing the price down, and they refused. We met with another company that was able to suggest one concession that kept the design intact but saved us enough money to bring the project back into what we could afford. That took about 15 min, yet Buildsense could not be bothered. Buildsense did charge us the full amount for their "build ready plans" too bad the plans were anything but. So lets recap they used a design that we had basically come up with, did nothing to help us figure out how to realize that design in anything near out budget and over charged us for some pretty drawing that were worthless.

We turned to BuildSense after a bad experience with another firm and we were thrilled with the change BuildSense was unfailingly polite and responsive They listed to what we wanted and turned our home from a dated time capsule into a modern home where we love to live Their budget estimates for both our renovation and our addition were accurate They worked around our busy schedules, responded to our e-mails at all hours of the day and night, and successfully mediated our marital design differences They were patient and positive throughout our project, particularly when things seemed to hit a wall with the town planning department We highly recommend BuildSense and plan to work with them again on a future project
