Built Wright Homes and Roofing

After the hail storm in July of 2018 I contacted Built Wright Homes to do the repair s to my home. Jason said they would replace the roof and do the other jobs as listed on my insurance papers and they would do it for whatever the insurance would allow. If there was a difference they had someone in the office that would deal with the insurance company for the difference. I had already contracted out the replacement of my damaged windows(big ticket loss for Built wright)..I signed a contract, which the building inspector point out to me, that is blank. I then very stupidly wrote Built Wright a check for the full amount the insurance company paid me because Jason said they had to have it for supplies beforethey could start the job. They replaced the roof but didn't seal the pipe coming from the furnace, so during the winter thesnow melted ran down the pipe onto the insulation and wet insulation sitting unnoticed on my ceiling cause it to crack and droop. I called Jason and he sent a guy over to fix it..and he did..but the damage was already done. Jason said they(Built Wright) would repair it. Later we had a disagreement because I asked for an invoice listing all the cost before Farm Bureau would pay them..They were reluctant to do that..I asked them for a check for the initial window payment, they would not do that..I received a letter 3 days ago.which claims that all the money I gave them went to the roof. To justify the cost they listed money to be used for an outbuilding as used for the porch which should have been included in the cos tof the roof. Each time I tried to talk to them they would turn it around that I was at fault and they couldn't do anymore because I had not paidthem and theywere losing money and when I tried to explain I needed an invoice they just blew me off

On 7/14/2015 I signed a contract with Joe D, owner of Built Wright Homes, to replace the roof, windows, rain gutters and siding on my home and siding and roof on my garage that was damaged by Hail. *** agreed to pay $12,124.24 and Mr. D agreed to do the job for that amount. When the work was completed in August of 2015, I received a check from *** on 09/02/2015. I signed it over to Mr. D. He signed the check receipt on 9/2/2015 for $12,124.24. They replaced the roofs on both buildings, windows and rain gutters but could not find a match for the siding on the house or garage so we decided not to replace the siding. The total cost for all of the completed work is $6,215.87. I have called Mr. D repeatedly for several months now to ask for the rest of the money, $5,908.37. He told me there was an additional cost to put decking on the roof so that was added in and he would Re-bill *** for that and then settle up. I do know that decking was necessary to bring the home up to code. This is going on 3 years now and he will no longer answer his phone when I call. I leave messages and he will not call back. In addition, I have told him 4 times that one of the rain gutters is leaking, it ins warranty work but he will not respond. My Pastor called Mr. D on 10/04/2018 and Joe answered his phone. He said he hadn't re-billed *** yet and the rain gutter issue was new news to him but it would be fixed by 10/21/2018 by his crew from Billings or by a local contractor. He said he would contact *** and get the decking cost resolved and we would have an answer by 10/18/2018. We asked him to send us a copy of the bill for the decking and he agreed to do that. We have heard nothing from him since that call on 10/4/2018. I contacted Don Bennett, the agent at Traveler's, on 10/18/2018 and he said Mr. D had not rebilled for the decking.
