We regret that the owner in this complaint does not feel that the service provided was helpful to her, but we will not be moving forward with any additional refund or communication.  On the day that her pug was seen, she had significant concerns with the care, and we addressed these concerns at...

the time.  We discussed the situation thoroughly, and did provide some care at no charge due to her concerns.  The owner expressed that she was happy with the resolution and the discussion that we had, and that she would like to continue as a patient at our hospital.  In requesting medications for her pet, the doctors who handled the communication were under the assumption that she was requesting additional refills for her medication, not a simple transfer of the prescription.  Further prescriptions for her dog's care do need to be performed at a veterinary facility that has a valid veterinary-patient-client relationship, which we do not at this time.  All of the medical care provided to this patient have been appropriate and correct, despite the owner's opinions to the contrary.  We have also communicated very thoroughly with her about her pet's medical needs and at this point can no longer provide care due to the lack of trust she clearly has in us.  She does need to seek the advice of her primary veterinarian for further refills.
