Cracked my windshield. Refused to provide compensation. Lied about the prior existence of crack, refused to show video evidence or issue refund.I brought in my car for an exterior detail and left with a crack in my windshield and the distinct feeling of having been taken advantage of. When I brought the crack to the attention of the manager, he informed me that they had video footage that showed the crack before the detailing yet refused to show me the video, saying instead that I would have to "take his word for it." If there was indeed proof of the crack existing before hand, it would have been easy enough to show me the video. But instead the manager was rude, incredibly unprofessional, and lied to cover his own [redacted]. Note this car was purchased a week before, so I am absolutely positive that there WAS NOT a crack in the windshield before I brought it in. Refused to pay for the damage, or issue a refund. Thoroughly disappointed in my treatment at this facility, whose employees would rather skirt responsibility than fess up to their own error. Desired SettlementI would like the business to pay to replace my windshield ($300). I would also like to be refunded the price of the exterior detailing ($109). I would also like an apology.
