Bull Painting Company

Darrel B. is the owner of Bull Painting Company. Darrel and I had a contract to update my home which consisted of removing popcorn from ceilings, repaint ceilings, remove paneling, install sheetrock and paint, remove, re-install and paint trim, install crown molding in kitchen and den and paint all the built in cabinets. I chose Darrel because I had used him previously for a smaller job, and had a positive experience with him. It was quite a sizable job and we had agreed on a two month time line. For those two months I completely moved out of the house and removed my cars from the garage so he could use it. Three months later the job was not finished, and I made a decision to move back in the house. The job was about half done and Darrel was admittedly in over his head. I knew that there was trouble the day after I moved back in when I found tools gone, no paint or other materials to finish the job though I had paid for them. Darrel did not show up at the house two days in a row. In those two days subcontractors came by the house looking for money and were not positive about Bull Painting Co. I had terminate my dealings with Darrel and make him take his remaining belongings and leave the property. Darrel has financial issues. I held up my end of the contract 100% and I have documentation to support this. Darrel did not honor his contract, and I have had to pay another contractor to finish the job.
