Review: ON 08/20/2015 AT AROUND 3:50 PM I STOPPED AT THE CHEVRON ON [redacted] TO GET SOME FUEL. WHEN I PULLED UP TO THE PUMP THE SCREEN SAID PAY INSIDE ON IT. I WENT INSIDE AND TOLD THE CASHIER $30 ON PUMP 11. SHE RAN THE TRANSACTION AND I SWIPED MY DEBIT CARD AND ENTERED MY PIN. THE SCREEN SAID APPROVED, AND RIGHT AWAY THE CASHIER TOLD ME THAT THE PURCHASE WAS CANCELLED AND THAT THE $30 WAS CREDITED TO MY ACCOUNT. SHE THEN TOLD ME TO PULL TO ANOTHER PUMP. AT THAT TIME A MALE EMPLOYEE CAME IN AND ASKED IF I WAS THE ONE AT PUMP 11 AND I SAID I WAS, BUT I AM MOVING. HE SAID HE WAS WORKING ON THE ISSUE AND APOLOGIZED. I WENT OUT TO MOVE MY CAR, AND I CHECKED MY BANK APP ON MY PHONE, AND I HAD BEEN CHARGED THE $30, AND THERE WAS NO PENDING CREDIT. I ASKED FOR A RECIEPT, AND WAS TOLD TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER. WHEN I FINALLY (5 MIN LATER) FOUND A MANAGER (ON MY OWN) HAVING A SMOKE BREAK, SHE WAS VERY RUDE TO ME, AND SAID THE CREDIT WILL POST IN 24 HRS. I TOLD HER THAT WAS FINE, BUT I STILL WANTED A RECIEPT. SHE THEN GOT VERY RUDE AND TRIED TO TEACH ME HOW BANK CREDITS WORK. I AGAIN INSISTED ON A RECIEPT FOR PROOF, AND THEY TRIED TO GIVE ME A FAKE RECIEPT FROM A SALE FROM ALMOST AN HOUR BEFORE I GOT THERE. THEN WHEN CALLED OUT ON THAT, HER TONE CHANGED, AND SHE HAND WROTE HER FIRST NAME, AND THE STORE PHONE NUMBER ON A BLANK RECIEPT AND TOLD ME THAT WAS ALL SHE COULD DO FOR ME. AT THIS POINT I WAS GOING TO BE LATE PICKING MY DAUGHTER UP FROM DAYCARE, WHICH WOULD COST ME MORE THAN THE $30, SO I LEFT. THE BANK IS TELLING ME THERE IS NO PENDING CREDIT, AND THAT THEY HAVE SEEN THIS SCAM BEFORE AT OTHER GAS STATIONS. I CANNOT FIND ANY INFO ONLINE FOR THE OWNERS.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE $30 REFUNDED TO ME.

Business states that the complaint issues were forwarded to the main office and dealt with accordingly. At this point , business believes the customer issues have been resolved. This is very common occurrence with consumers. Cards are not actually charged until after the gas is pumped.
