Bullfrog Performance Speed Shop Reviews (%countItem)

I wouldn't recommend anyone to this shop why because I had a horrible experience with my own LSA motor here. I brought my motor here to have it re-sleeve and put back together for some reason my car started overheating and I lost oil pressure. *** told me 12 psi at idle was OK. I change the oil and had nothing but metal in it. *** told me to bring him back the motor so he can find out what's wrong apparently they forgot to line hone the block after putting in the sleeves so it ate up my main bearings not once but twice because I was told the problem was fix. The guy who was putting my motor together had quit so he had no one to finish my engine. He gave me back my engine in a box in pieces. So I asked what about my $3500 that I already paid you and still don't have a working engine. He refuse to give me back any of my money. I took my parts to another shop and they told me all the sleeves that was installed dropped and that's why my vehicle started to overheat and My line Hone was not straight at all so that explains the oil pressure. So I'm out of $3500 and still don't have a running engine for my car so I'm forced to take legal action.

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like a full refund so I can pay another shop to fix my car engine our have them replace the motor they broke.

The customer has a fueling/tuning issue. Has had the same issue since before we repaired it for him. he had gotten to much fuel in number 5 cylinder and lifted the ring gland and broke a ring. which the ring material and cylinder material started to go through the engine/ upon driving the engine up on with to much fuel he overheated the engine past 260 degrees. instead of shutting the motor down to save parts he kept over heating the engine beyond save levels over 240 degrees. Overheating the motor so many times he finally damaged it to the point it has cracked and distorted the deck. overheating an engine voids any warranties of any kind. and still we did help him for what he asked for. we gave him gaskets, bearings, checked his head and surfaced them since the over heating warped them. we offered to help him and tow his vehicle and he refused and continued to drive it again and overheat it the point of no return.

Shop did not do what they were supposed to do. They forgot to line hone my engine and it ate up my main bearings I called the shop and told them it was metal all of my oil Jeremiah told me to take the engine out and bring it back to him free of charge he will fix everything and replace all my gaskets. When I put the engine back in the car several days later it started to lose oil pressure again and this time it started overheating. I told Jeremiah about the problem and I bought the car to his shop to show him he told me to take the engine back out and give it to him so he can figure out what's going on. When I gave Jeremiah the engine back his engine builder quit and he told me he had no one to finish my engine. I asked them for a refund and my engine back and he refused to give me any money back but he met with me at a wing house in Wesley Chapel to give me back my engine in boxes.I have pictures and videos and dates of everything. I bought the engine over to another machine shop for them to tell me exactly what is wrong with it. *** told me the sleeves Bullfrog performance installed has dropped and this is why it started overheating. He also measured and looked at my bearing caps and said the line home is not straight. I am not a machinist everything that's wrong with the engine was done by the machine shop that I paid for in full. All I did was put the engine in and out the car three times. If you look at the receipt and you see what I paid for and look at the pictures that is not a complete engine for all the money that I paid Bullfrog for formants why don't I still have a running motor for my car why is there a metal all in my oil. Bullfrog performance messed my engine up and is trying every way to blame me for something I did not do. Bullfrog performance put this engine together And took it apart and because his guy quit he gave me back my engine in boxes and no money back

March 16th we went ahead just processed the customers 2000.00 back onto his credit card. It should have posted onto his account by now. we also pressure checked and resurfaced his heads. gave him main bearings and gaskets back already. this should be fine. his ticket was 2660. and with the items and the 2000.00 back to his card it is a full refund on the ticket.

It is not a full refund gaskets he gave me do not add up to an engine block my block is not fixable it is cracked and I need a new one. The cost of an engine block for my car is 2,800. Everything that happened to my engine was all done by the shop. I also need a crank for the engine and that cost $550. I am still out of a car and my engine is still in the boxes the shop gave me back. If you look at the receipts provided by the shop for him to complete and put my engine together you can see in the other documents that this engine is not together. I would like a full refund so I could buy parts and take my engine to another shop to be put together. The shop never finish the job and shrewd it up more and gave it back to me in pieces why is it so hard for them to give me my money back so I can MoveOn

I have another shop going over everything Bullfog say they did and everything is off. If the shop does not refund me every dollar and replace all the parts they messed up I'm willing and ready to go through the courts. At this point I need an engine complete for my vehicle because bullfrog performance damaged everything I have.
