Dear Mr***,I apologize for the incorrect original response ACIS did provide the option of travelling on the same program on the same date to Australia I understand that the coach made a personal decision not to travel, however, he should have explained to you that the program was still running and that ACIS does have the right per our terms and conditions to change group leaders We had given you a special exception of a 100% voucher of all monies lost instead of a cancellation penalty.All this being said ACIS is willing to give you another special exception and refund your full payment You should be receiving the refund in the next few weeks [redacted] ***

Dear Mr***,I am sorry to hear you are upset with our process. Although we had sent many communications to you via email I understand you did not receive them. We do send a physical mail piece to each student to confirm the email address and passport names upon
registration. I am glad we were able to re-instate your son on to this trip and we did waive the reinstatement fee but due to the last minute reinstatement we were unable to get the same flight rate for your son. I know it must have felt like more and more fees were necessary after you discovered that the name written on the registration form was incorrect as it is not the passport name of your sonAlthough we were just passing on the direct fees from the airline and was not at any profit to ACIS, we actually split the $airline fee with you and charged only the $250. With all this in consideration we do not want you to feel you were unfairly treated and are willing to refund you the additional $for the airline "name change" fee. This fee will be refunded next week. I hope your son enjoys his trip and hope you feel this is a fair resolution. Thank you,*** ***

Dear Mr ***,I understand your frustrated and we are trying to work out a compromise by refunding in full three of the five family members. We are running the program on the date you requested and trying to be flexible with the cancellation policy as a compromise. I understand you are not happy with this response however it is above and beyond the stated contract because you are a family and your loss was higher than an individual who decides not to travel. They did not send out an email or bother contacting participants when the bombing occurred, in fact they did not even tell us anything about cancellingI should be entitled to a full refund if that's their excuseThey're under the assumption that I know about the fee but no where In the emailed packet was a page where they claimed the policy wasThe document was also only pagesI understand they need to make money but if they're doing it by scamming and not having proper customer service reps on the phone then that's not the way to go. We are sorry that your daughter is ill and unable to travel this year. Unfortunately, even with a medical cancellation, the cancellation fees would have exceeded the amount paid. We were not contacted to cancel the trip until after the trip had been cancelled for non-payment within
days of the departure date of the program. Five additional invoices had been sent along with an impending cancellation notice on the 12th of January Here are the cancellation fees without the additional insuranceAs ACIS is a group travel company within educational market we do need to run groups together if they are under the size of 25. In this case, we are running the trip with another school but the only change was the additional of Assisi and Sorrento with no date change. This practice is allowed as listed in our terms and conditions: GROUP SIZE: ACIS reserves the right to offer small groups the choice of moving to an alternate itinerary which goes to the same general area or paying a small group surcharge This itinerary adjustment was made in November, over three months before the requested cancellation Please find a copy of the registration booklet and the signed terms and conditions attached. I hope this clarifies why you were not granted a full refund Thank you, *** ***

Dear ***,We are sorry you were not able to travel. We do have all our cancellation regulations in our registration booklet and online to make sure you understand the fees involved if you cancel for a non-insured reason. You cancelled days prior to the trip which
is within 90-days range and therefore the cancellation fee is $650. I also see from the notes that there were multiple contacts between you and ACIS explaining this refund if you were to cancelWe had extended our cancellation policies due to the Paris bombings until January 1st. Although you did not cancel within that time we are willing to back date your cancellation to that date and give you the cancellation refund as if you had cancelled days prior. This cancellation fee would be $instead of $650. Therefore you will receive back $more as a special exceptionI hope you are happy with this special exception and you will be receiving this refund within the next days.Thank you and I do hope you travel in the future, ***

 Again, we have no details on the other teams.   We wanted to travel with the Coach we knew.  She is your representative as she gathered many together.  With over 180 days cancellation based on the terms changing, I cannot leave $700.  It appears you will have a nice profit from the other players that have cancelled as well if you hold $350 on each cancellation.   I would like the refund less $350 then.   I would like that refund within 30 days as well.  Not 45 days.  You already had an interest free loan since 04-17.
