Bumper to Bumper

Hello the repair in question was performed on 10/7/the repair was the customer stated it was so that is not true.Normally we will not install customer supplied parts and this is a perfect example of why.The customer is the son of a very good customer so we allowed him to bring the parts against our better judgement.The parts he brought we a cheap [redacted] kit and some of them failed on initial start up after repair.Customer was informed and asked us to replace them.Replacing them was a hour job.After replacing them(timing quides)the truck was started and seemed to run good.The truck was road tested and as soon as it got up to temperature the timing tensioner could not keep the chains tight they were also customer supplied.We informed the customer and he asked for us to replace them.That was another hour repair.After the tensioner replacment the truck ran great but would throw codes for bad cam phaser solinoids that were also customer supplied .We then replaced them another hour job.After this point we had removed all of his parts and replaced them it was over hours book time and we only charged him for hours trying to help him out.He also states in his complaint that the truck sat right after he got it back because it wasnt right but I have copies of text messages from him from to months after the date on the invoice that he tells me the truck was running great.So at this point I think we were more than fair with the customer and that he made a few statments

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below [If you are rejecting the business's response please enter your rejection comments here.] I have receipts from a different tow truck companies in which one of the transports were to the Bumper to Bumper location in RevereI personally drove my vehicle to this location with only an engine light with no symptoms of trouble besides the lightI mentioned what I believed the problem to be an the mechanic confirmed my concernI don't make or have great financial means I have daughters and a wife that depended on an available vehicle for employment to help support the familyWe got the truck back it ran great! days later my wife and younger daughter were in the truck when it started stalling on the highway and my wife couldn't steer the truck safely at those speedsWe had it towed to the house and I called the mechanic and he seemed puzzled about the new informationI again had it towed but to the Revere location and he suggested that he lock out the phasers and again said that it would fix the issueHe had my truck for over months with no communication about the vehicle or its progressI received a text saying come get the truck everything is great I fixed it againI picked up the truck it was running beautifulThen again immediately after driving to work it just died no lights no powerHad it towed again to my house got it to start while filling up the street with white smokeI informed the mechanic of the situation and he wouldn't have anything to do with itI've recently had to get rid of the truck for scrap I thought I had a friend but I was just another story about rip off artists Regards, [redacted]

I personally drove my vehicle to this location with only an engine light with no symptoms of trouble besides the light. I mentioned what I believed the problem to be an the mechanic confirmed my concern. I don't make or have great financial means I have 2 daughters and a wife that depended on an available vehicle for employment to help support the family. We got the truck back it ran great! 2 days later my wife and younger daughter were in the truck when it started stalling on the highway and my wife couldn't steer the truck safely at those speeds. We had it towed to the house and I called the mechanic and he seemed puzzled about the new information. He had my truck for over 2 months with no communication about the vehicle or its progress. I received a text saying come get the truck everything is great I fixed it again. I picked up the truck it was running beautiful. Then again immediately after driving to work it just died no lights no power.
