There are multiple instances of issues with the latest game from the publisher Activsion and game developer Bungie where it is not as advertised. But the biggest one is licensing issues for Xbox 360 users. As of the release of The Taken King, they are no longer allowing console-based licensing, which means that families who used to take turns playing the game, now have to pay twice for the game in order to keep doing that.
While that seems to be their perogotive under the available Xbox 360 licensing structures, its NOT what the usage restrictions consumers actually read when they decide to purchase the software. We spent $80 on the Destiny The Taken King Digital Collectors edition fully expecting to still have our two profiles on the same console still be able to share it. But in order to do so, we are now required to spend an additional $40 to do this. Also, Microsoft is not offering refunds at the time either. So we feel like we've been baited and switched.
