Review: I took my car in for an overheating issue and left with paper towel in my cooling system. The car was there for three months. They never once called me about it to give me an update on how the repair was going and when I would call they would tell me that they needed to do something else to "fix" it. Before I took it in, I had already replaced the thermostat, reservoir tank (which included a new radiator cap), had the system flushed and then replaced the radiator. After a week, I called them and they told me that I needed a new manifold intake. I really believed that this could have been the trouble since I had busted the seat in the bleeder valve while trying to bleed the system myself. I was able to purchase a used manifold intake along with new gaskets and brought it up to them to put on the car. They once again assured me this was the problem. A week and 1/2 later with still no call, I called them to find out that this did not solve the problem. Now I needed a new timing belt and water pump since my car had over 170,000 miles on it. I again believe that this might have been the problem and this time brought new parts to them to install...then I waited for the call. They never called. When I called them, they told me that they came to the conclusion that it was either a blown head gasket or a cracked head without doing a pressure test. I immediately called another mechanic and had him come with me to pick up the car. Lebes tried to bill me for a new thermostat, relay switch, and radiator cap but I disputed the charges and they took them off my bill. Today, my mechanic found a PAPER TOWEL in the USED thermostat that they had switched for my NEW one. The new mechanic said that if this paper towel has gotten into my radiator and/or heads, it could clog up my entire system. He is now flushing my BRAND NEW radiator and finding several pieces of paper towel coming from the NEW radiator that was purchased in February of 2013. I am taking pictures and have proof of the paper towel.Desired Settlement: I want Bunton-Lebes to pay for any parts that I recently purchased NEW and may have to replace (thermostat, gaskets, radiator i.e) because of a paper towel in the thermostat and any new repairs that my car may have to under go including but not limited to labor costs involved in cleaning up my engine. Which may include taking my heads off to clean out any residual paper towel pieces that could cause my heads to be clogged and continue to cause my car to overheat.
