Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sylvia S [redacted] , Burdens Towing, Dear Sirs, First I would like to point out that no statement was made refuting my statementsAs I was and am telling the truthMrB [redacted] did fail to allow me to pay the fee of $as requested and pick up my jeep with in the days the law allows#1) Your first statement is not trueOn 3/11/I was at home in bedThe jeep title and insurance card were in the jeep on the dash where the police officer left them, signed over to me, [redacted] ***, from ***I also have a written receipt from ***There is also a witness to the transactionSo there was and is no question who the jeep belonged to#2) MrB***, I contend you withheld the title and insurance card from my personal belongingsYou tried to extort money out of him that was not dueThe police officer had verified ownership and insurance on the vehicle and left title and insurance on the dash of the jeep [redacted] will state those documents where not amongst my personal belongingsYou state towing fee's are $and storage is $a dayMy jeep was towed in on March 14th according to the police reportIt was towed blocksYou state you told [redacted] on March 15th the fee's where at $That was $more than your standard fee's of $My father was taken to jail and his Cadillac was towed into your facility last monthHow is it that you only charged him $in towing and storage fee's of his carHe gave no proof of valid drivers license or insurance to youHe also states that at first you told him $and then changed your mindMy fathers Cadillac was towed miles, and was subject to the one day chargeTotal fee's would be $just like my jeepYour business has been open over yrswith Silvia in the office and Mr.B [redacted] working the shop and tow trucksHow is it that with all this experience these types of mistakes can be made? My father knew I had insurance and a valid drivers licenseHe expected a bill of $and the police stations charges of $totaling $He did not anticipate that you would try to extort additional fee's, and withhold my proof of ownership and insurance#3) [redacted] states and will state that he was told if he wanted my purse out of the jeep he would need to sign the invoice releasing Burdens of the responsibility of my purse and personal belongingsHe will state that he wrote nothing other than his signatureThat is not his writingThose are not the words that you stated to him and that is not the license plate number on my jeepThe police officers report states that the title was shown to him as proof of ownershipIt also states I handed him my insurance card for verificationThey were both on the dash in the jeep#4) I appreciate you quoting the law for usdays of holding was never an issue since MrB [redacted] on the 22nd day quoted me $cash by the 25th day giving me a deal as he did my fatherOn the 23rd day, MrB [redacted] sold it to my neighbor, telling him to wait until the 30th day and on the 24th day denying me the right to pay the fee of $and take my jeep as verbally agreedAgain you mention the status or my valid Oregon drivers license and valid insuranceAgain, I will state my license and insurance were in good standing#5) Thanks again for quoting the lawsI've never said the officer was not with in law to have the vehicle towedAgain, MrB [redacted] you failed to allow me to pay the fee's and take my property with in the thirty days the law allowsYou made a deal with me and broke itMan up MrB [redacted] you blew itYou just made it even worsePlease return my jeep or pay me fair market value for my jeepSincerely, [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] ***
