We had Buric Heating & AC replace our furnace last month, and we recommend them They had done some simple duct work for us previously, but we had been using a big company for our HVAC stuff However, when our furnace died, the big company tried to convince us to change our entire heating + air system, saying it would save money since our AC would have to be replaced at some point and it was, they said, much cheaper to do both at once We called Buric to get a 2nd opinion, and they told us there was no reason why there should be big savings doing the whole system, but we could do the heating now and the AC whenever necessary rather than replacing a system that was working fine They answered all our questions clearly So we liked what appeared to be a more honest response, no pressure, and then the price they quoted for just the H replacement was much better than we were given by the larger company Buric sent people to do the job, quick, efficient, clean, andoh, yeah, cheaper So we are pleased - house is warm and cozy since they came My sense is that when this system goes wrong, the big companies think homeowners are rather desperate (the house is too hot! too cold!), but it still pays to get competing offers, and from our experience we suggest Buric
