in question, Burke Foot & Ankle Center, has mailed me a check for the requested amount along with the orthotic device mentionedThe device is not correctly adjusted (again) as it is missing a feature normally prescribed for my problem, making it unhelpfulThe first time I requested an adjustment was partially because the doctor had forgotten this featureHe added it for the first adjustment, but the the device still did not fit properlyDuring the subsequent visit for the second adjustment, I reminded him of the previously prescribed feature and he promised to not forget this timeHowever, he again failed to remember, making this the second time it was forgotten.I no longer wish to deal with this doctor on correcting the foot problem and will accept the refund of the over payment as an unsatisfactory resolutionI am extremely disappointed because the final result appears to have been a total waste of the $that was not covered by my insuranceI am not new to this doctor's office in that he had prescribed other pairs of orthotics in the past with satisfactory resultsMore recently, he apparently replaced his previous nurse and billing person with his wife and I fear that both the doctor and his wife have reached an age where they have become extremely forgetful and their services have deterioratedWhile they are nice people and I suspect the doctor is now semi-retired, in light of what seems to be going on now, I think it's time for him to fully retire. These items arrived today, 10/04/with no additional information from the doctor's office and I have not been contacted by themThere has been no apology for this delay in final processingIf this new check bounces like the last one did, I will send another message to re-open this complaint on the refund issue.Thanks,*** ***Complaint #***
