I called Oxi Fresh to clean my sofas after I researched the company online. The chemical free cleaning process seemed like a great option. Mark L., one of the Oxi Fresh employees came to my house (over an hour late) and began to clean my two sofas. The entire cleaning process took about 3 hours... One sofa was fully cleaned, and the other seemed to only be half way cleaned (thank goodness). After the sofas dried, I noticed awful water stains across the entire body of first sofa to be cleaned. I immediately called Mr. L. to let him know. This was a light cream sofa that has now turned brown due to the water stains. Mr. L. came back to my house to try and fix the sofa. He refunded my payment for the cleaning, and did not think the stains could be removed. This was a $4000 sofa that was ruined (which I explained the cost of before the cleaning process). I spoke with Matt H., who was extremely disrespectful of the situation. He offered absolutely no apology for my sofa being ruined, and was absolutely unfair when it came to resolving the issue. He offered me $400 compensation for the damages, which wouldn't even cover a third of the cost to have it reupholstered. He was not willing to file an insurance claim for ruining my property either. I am extremely disappointed of the way this situation was handled, and would never recommend Oxi Fresh to anyone. It is very disappointing to see a local business run so poorly. I will be taking this situation to small claims court, yet another inconvenience added to my poor experience with Oxi Fresh. Absolutely incompetent company... Extremely disappointed in all aspects of their service.
