Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
I did receive a messageThe skimmer area is not the problem, it is over feet from the skimmerI have asked *** to come to our home and access it for himselfWe suggested a meeting on the of JulyAlso the material they used between the pool coping and the cement, old and new is defective and is separatingThis and the other issues will be discussed at our meeting, including the areas where water is pooling

I signed a contract on March 28, The salesperson, *** *** said the project would start in six weeks and would last a week to ten days There was no start or end date on the contract and I understand why he left it blank I owed three payment They front loaded the payments, $for prep, $tile work, $plastering I have paid $and no plastering has been done$is the actual cost of the plastering, I have prepaid for something I have not receivedThey drained the pool June 1, They promised to do the plastering June 24, no show Some tile trim people came today and worked hours and goneI have called nearly every business day trying to reach someone other than the customer service rep No one returns my calls

I cannot believe this company is Revdex.com accredited, especially with an A+ rating I signed a contract with them on March 24, the salesperson Dennis J*** told us there was a day lead time and work would be completed within 2-weeks of the start I received an email last month saying the actual replastering would be done between June 2-which was already a much later date than was originally given It is now June 14th and they have only completed partial work I have been lied to, phone calls are not returned, it goes weeks between hearing from them, and there is always an excuse when I do get a hold of someone I just got off the phone with them after I called times today and finally got through They have now given me a date of July 1st, 1/months after the signing the contract, days after draining the pool

We contracted with Burketts 8/13/to re-plaster the pool and to add and replace around the pool, add a step and replace cracker concretewithin months the concrete started to raise and the material between the concrete and coping edge of the pool started to pull awayTheir is a piece of cracked cement that they added next to a step the added Also from the very beginning we experienced water pooling in varies places where they did the cement workI had a discussion with their Project Manager *** right after the concrete was put inHe said it was settling but nothing further was done about the water poolingAugust 29, I called to let them know the concrete was coming up in multiple places causing a trip and fall riskthey sent *** again and he blamed it on the droughtSaid they would replace a small area of the material that is pulling away from the coping and patio but nothing elseAfter multiple calls, *** came out and took a lookDidn't hear back from made m

They are the worst, replastered my pool twice in months, did a horrible job both timesIf they can't replaster a pool successfully on attempts, they should not be in businessTake my word, go with someone else!!!!!!

We have been in communication with [redacted].  We did some patch work concrete on the job, we poured in two separate areas, and some of the deck has settled and  lifted over the last two years.  There's one issue we have with the existing pool that we're trying to get resolved...

with homeowner, and that's her existing skimmer was set to low and is leaking water, we believe that this is causing the concrete to lift around it.  I've told her that I would repair concrete but she'd have to pay for new skimmer in order for this to not happen again.  I sent Ms [redacted] a message today to set up a onsite meeting to discuss repairs needed and we will come up with dates to start work.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

I reviewed complaint and looked up all of our info on this project.  Project was sold on the 28th of March, It was approved by management and processed through scheduling on the 7th of April.  As you can imagine that time of year is extremely busy and we tell our salesmen to...

explain to customer that once contract is scheduled start would be within the next 6 to 8 weeks.  Here's the schedule from start to finish.Pool Drain 6-1-17Installation of Tile 6-7-17Prep/sandblast of pool 6-12-17Equipment installation 6-16-17Remodel service 6-26-17Plaster 6-30-17Start up / pool operational 7-2-17.Note during this time we experienced a heat wave in the week of the 19th to the 23rd of June, this pushed our schedule back because we couldn't work as much in those conditions.  We only could do one plaster job a day per crew instead of the 2 or 3 a day when the weather isn't as hot.  We feel terrible that the customer was upset about this but as you can see for the time of year and weather conditions that is the quickest we can do it.  As far as the money goes nothing changed from the contract that customer signed on the 28th of March.  If customer had an issue with it he could of addressed that concern pre signing of contract.  If there's anything else that I could answer please let me know.

Review: Breach of contract.

Failed to install tile on pool steps as stated in the contract. Company did not complete startup process by neutralizing the pool. Contacted Proj Mgr and Service tech. Told that alkalinity needed to be adjusted. Verified alkalinity level and ph with [redacted] service. Told by service tech someone would call back - didn't happen. I purchased chemicals and neutralized the pool myself. Company paid in full. Still waiting for deck-0-seal. Overall poor customer service.Desired Settlement: $1000 refund or replaster pool and include tile on pool bench seats.

We hired Burkett to replace an aging pool system when it finally died. We had never owned a pool before and purchased our home with the existing pool. The sales staff from Burkett's came to our home with a great sales pitch and the promise of a much easier system. That system was installed about 2 years ago and we have had nothing but problems since! During the installation we did finally see a project manager who was the 3rd person to try and get the system working. It took multiple calls to get the work completed and although they required the money with the understanding that the final check would not be cashed until the work was done they ran to the bank. After a no show for the work to be completed I took more time out of my schedule to contact them and ask why my final check had been cashed and the work was not done. They were sure it was done and after pushing they realized it was not and came out to finish. The work is finally done but I remain unsatisfied and have now hired a pool person since the system cannot seem to keep up to maintain the cleanliness of the pool and my husband and I don't have the time to work on it everyday! I would love to have the previous 1970's system back that seemed to do such a better job.

Warning warning warning!!!! This is the worst company I have ever hired! The nightmare begins the first day I made the deal to have a pool replastered at our rental house. The first thing they did was remove a diving board that we put in writing not to remove . When they replastered the pool they left holes in the pool wall enabling it to leak. Now comes the worst. The day they were doing the replastered I saw one of the guys washing out equipment at the drain pipe in the front yard. We had just put all new sod in the yard also. A few days later when the tile layer put the toilets back on and flushed them the real nightmare begins. The sewer backed up everywhere! Since this is a house we were in the middle of remodeling the tile wasn't set yet and the grout was not dry . More mess. I called a plumber and he try to run a snake but it wouldn't budge. He said it felt like concrete. This is when I called B[redacted]s . Mr B[redacted] himself came and wouldn't even shake my hand . Should have been my first clue what kind of a guy I was dealing with. He basically called me a liar and said his guys did not put the plaster down the sewer. He wanted the pipe dug up the next morning. Sure enough it was his plaster. They send out guys that dig up my yard ruined the sod and did shoddy plumbing as they were not plumbers. Randy one of the managers assured me that they got it all! He knew they didn't. In the next 24 hours they called me 5 times to sign a release in return for a partial refund. Now after 3 weeks our renters move in and it starts all over again! Now the plumbing inside my house is plugged with their plaster! Not only is this wrong it's illegal . They have to be stopped from these bad practices and putting families through hell! Read their yelp reviews and run. There are plenty of other choices. Please send me a message if you have had similar problems with B[redacted]s !

BUYER BEWARE! My project took five months instead of the original month and a half put on my bid. Steve Wirf was good for contract signing and being sensitive to my concerns. On the other hand my project manager [redacted] had terrible communication skills and time management skills. I would not recommend burketts to a friend. I was definitely put on the back burner once 90% of my money was received yet it took three more months to get the work done after they had my money! I was lucky if they showed up once a week and for the last month of work, and was mostly done on Saturdays :-(
