Both my neighbours and I saw the workers by my car right before it was damaged. Why did he agree to have me get a quote if this wasn't his fault? There isn't any other company that does landscaping on my street. I contacted my [redacted] as soon as I saw the damage, he came over and looked at it and gave me his number. The only thing that changed between our face to face conversation and now is the price to repair.

We do not accept responsibility for the damage to [redacted], as we see no evidence that we caused it. As for suggesting she get a quote for the cost of repairs, that's just good advise, no matter who is responsible or paying for repairs; it was not an acceptance of responsibility on our part. This company essentially admitted responsibility when the owner met with me, looked at the damage and asked me to get a quote.
It was impossible to actually see if the landscapers scratched my car as the damage was facing away from view. But the landscapers were viewed working in the area by an independent party (neighbours), there wasn't any damage before they were there, and there was damage after they left.
This company has failed to follow through with their oral promises.
I am open to discussion with the company in terms of how we can get this damage repaired.
