Mrs [redacted] ,I am terribly sorry you and your husband had such a bad experienceAs you said, you have used us previously and you were very satisfiedI have gone over the details with my employees and it would appear as though we had some miscommunicationYou stated in your complaint that the entire house was already packed when that is not entirely the caseMy employees spent an hour packingAlso, there was another discrepancy with the gun safeI was told that it was a "small safe, only one man could move it"The safe was actually closer to lbsWhen I spoke to your husband he reserved men for hours, and he wanted to start at AMI tried to get him to start earlier but he declinedI do apologize that the job ran later, but are men were fully intending on taking a 2nd loadYour husband declinedI am terribly sorry for any inconvenience your choice may have caused, but my guys worked hard, in some difficult circumstancesThere is only so much possible space in a single truck, and we did the best of our abilityAdditionally, when your husband did make the reservation, he only requested men, this much I am certainWhen I was told about the need of a 3rd man I sent another employee as soon as I possibly couldI would like to address an issue as well, to the comment attacking my employeesWhen you say they did not know what they were doingI personally train all my employees until I believe them capable of doing the job safely and sufficientlyYou were billed for men, hours, and another for hoursThis averages just under hours per manA load does in fact take around hour to load and unload, but when you add in the extra packing, that was not requested, and also a lb safe coming out of a basement, these things take time, and considering we did all of this in the amount of time it took, I am actually impressedYour husband also made some rather unruly comments concerning my employees taking a lunch breakI can assure you, there are labor laws for a reasonMy employees were more than entitled to a unpaid meal break considering they worked over hoursTechnically they worked hours, took hours off the clock for lunch, and were legally entitled to another min breakThey did not in fact take this because of the hostility they were facingIt's unfortunate the job went as late as it did, but sometimes when your moving, not everything goes exactly according to planIf there was a time you wanted us done by, perhaps a earlier start time would have been a better choiceAs for the "to big for their own good" comment, I apologize you felt like you were not being tended toHere at BMS we take pride in going the extra mileYes we have grown since the first encounter, as all businesses doIt seems to me that the real problem was the fact that I was not on the job personallyFor this, I truly apologizeIf you wished me to be there you should have requested me personallyI did in fact speak with your husband and my exact words were "I have a crew scheduled at AM." I would have had no problem being on this job, but it needs to be requestedI am the owner and unfortunately I can not be on every jobI was in fact on another job at the time yours took placeAs for the receipt issue, here at BMS we try to be eco-friendlyWe don't issue receipts on the spot unless payment is a credit cardCash and check payments are on a requests basisWe would be more than willing to issue a receipt and send it in the mail if that is what you wantAs for the Disputed Amount, my employees worked hard in the blistering heat, they arrived early and were willing to stay until the job was finishedYour husband told them noI'm sorry you are not satisfied with your choice, but I cant be responsible for your actionsIf you want I will come and finish the job personally first chance I canI don't like to have any unhappy customers, and I am sorry that you feel the way you do but I do not feel as though you are entitled to half the cost of the job soley because you didn't allow us to finish the jobYour complaint was that my men didn't have any "he" what they were doing, what I can only assume means clue, when in fact they did a good job in under the amount of time you expectedAnd yes, here at Burnett's Moving Services we are in fact a EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERIf you had a personal problem with my employees why didn't you simply ask them to leave from the start?

As he told you over the phone he understands thatAlso as you are trying to imply we had a problem with them from the startI will contact a lawyer and you will loose if you play that little number againIt will be so funny to take your money over something like thatJust because you typed volumes of lies does not make them trueThe only packing was on the kitchen table if that takes them an hour then it is not us that has the problem but youAs for the safe my husband in no way said any such thingHe explain and you had seen it the time YOU were hereSo I do not accept any of these lies that you have saidWe want no further communication with such slanderous peopleThe failure of your business will speak volumesYou have a great day living with your lies Regards, [redacted]

This company is just telling liesNot once did they contact us to offer to finish the jobAnother bold faced lie. They are just going to keep throwing stuff to see what sticks. Too bad there is zero integrity with this companyI want my complaint recordedThey just tell lie after lieTo bad. Sometimes it just happensBut we will get the word out. Thank you for the awful experience!!! My husband will let all veterans and military know.

Dear Mrs***,I truly saddens me to see a previously happy customer end up this wayI can assure you I have not told any liesI have discussed this issue with you with the with complete honesty to the best of my knowledgeI am truly sorry we did not meet your expectationsIn all fairness, your expectations are completely impossibleI would attach the original work order to this reply, but it has your personal information that I don't think you would appreciate if I shared it. Again, I offered to come finish the job myself, free of charge, but you declinedFrom my understanding, there were only a handful of items left that were unable to to fit in the truckI would have gladly came and taken cared of them for youAdditionally, I instructed my crew leader to discount the 3rd manHe made a slight error and instead of completely being free it ended up being just over $an hour for himI apologize for thatYour items were not damagedYour only complaint was that they did not work fast enoughI disagreeConsidering my experience, I am aware how long jobs takeEven after the discount, you damanded $170, I declined. I wish you the best luck in your future venturesThis will be that end of any communications with you
