Review: Burnette Cabinet Shop, Inc. installed counter tops in my kitchen in June of 2007 with a ten year warranty. Within six months the seams on my counters started separating. Mr. Burnette came once to try to fix them and has been several times to look at them and take pictures. He called on several occasions to tell me that the manufacturer (Staron) was responsible for the problem and I needed to contact them. So I did. After many emails and photos to the manufacturer they informed me that the installation of their product was the problem not the product itself. I left a message for Mr. Burnette concerning this a couple of months ago and have not heard anything back for him. I would like to have my counters repaired or replaced.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my counters repaired or replaced.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have talked with Mr. Burnette and I believe that he is doing everything he can to resolve the issue. Of course, to truly resolve the issue I will need to have my counter tops repaired or replaced and I believe this will not occur for a long time. The manufacturer came to my house and would not take any responsibility for the issue. I would like to know if the adhesive company will not take responsibility then will Mr. Burnette replace the counter tops and seek restitution himself.

I spoke with [redacted] today by phone. I told her the people at [redacted] Wood Group are going to get me enough material to make a new set of counter tops for her at a reduced price. I am hoping this will bring the cost of a set of new tops down to a price I can afford to pay. The people at [redacted] Wood Group are to be commended for this because they have little to gain from it.
I am hoping to have this problem resolved soon.
