Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: Dr***’s office has done things like this beforeThere are dozens of people whom I’ve spoke with through Yelp who’ve told me that Dr***’s office only aim is to collect moneyThe main vet who was not on call the night my dog died, DrF [redacted] , called me and told me that negligence had taken part during my dogs care and this led to her deathI had no problem paying the complete amount of money and I even made a down payment with Dr [redacted] neglected to mentionHowever the f*t desk woman told me that no further payment was needed because my dog died before using any of the medications (which I returned unopened)Furthermore, DrF [redacted] told me my dog was overly sedated and that the staff should have never released her to me when she failed to wake up from the sedationI am positive that this Drand his staff are hurting animals and stealing money that doesn’t belong to themPlease understandI have never failed to make a payment to any business in my life, however this is the first time I truly believe my money should not go to someoneThey are an evil organizationPlease look on Yelp and you will see many other complaints like mine against themTherefore I refuse to pay off the account that they FRAUDULENTLY opened in my nameI have never had an outstanding balance with their office for over years and now they are saying that I just don’t want to pay? Look at the facts hereLet them provide you with my dogs medical records and also my financial history with themMy dog was very healthy before going under sedation and I have never missed a payment! S [redacted] brought Shimmer in on July 14th, -seen by Dr [redacted] at 2:PM as an Urgent Care appointment for wounds on her elbows/pressures sores, and lethargy and poor appetite, Shimmer, unfortunately, was not social and sedation was recommended to fully examine her, The estimate was presented to S*This owner mentioned financial Concerns and was offered Care CreditS [redacted] applied for Care Credit and was approved for $2,300, S [redacted] authorized the presented estimate and Shimmer was given sedation and the exam performed.This patient was later discharged ambulatory but the owner was advised if there were any concerns when we were closed to take Shimmer to a 24hr facility close by and was given the information regarding this facilityThis client was advised that we would not have the lab report back until the following dayThe radiographs taken were reviewed by Dr***, but we also had a radiologist review the radiographs and this report was also due back the following day,Unfortunately, Shimmer passed away that eveningThe cause is not known, but many possibilities were discussed with our doctor here-based upon the exam notes and the lab and radiologist report.The owner seemed upset but also seemed to understand what was explained to her and the pet was brought in for care of remains.When S***'s Care Credit bill came due, however, S [redacted] now was upset and demanded a complete refund - even trying to state that someone at our hospital told her this would be done.She is incorrectNobody here told her we made any errors, because none were doneWe also did not tell her there would be any reimbursement - in fact, this was not even brought up until recently, S [redacted] also makes claims that we are somehow "under investigation" by YelpS [redacted] has filed with the California Veterinary Board and the case will be under review by them regarding standard of care.It is certainly a sad situation when a pet dies, but S [redacted] is making claims and once she stated she will be taking this to the Veterinary Board, we are under advisement not to speak with her again, DrF [redacted] and staff have already spoken to her and she just keeps stating she just wants her money back - she is not happy with any medical or financial answers we have given her.Thank you,DrR [redacted]
