The owners of Burnsville Heating & AC have agreed to replace the condensing unit as requested The proper sized unit has already been ordered and delivered to usWe just need to make arrangements for an installation time

On July 17th, 2015 we did a repair on the condensing unit.  If we would have gone out again before the warranty on the failed evaporator coil had expired this would have been a chargeable labor repair.  The labor portion of the warranty expired in October of 2012.  Our labor charge to replace the evaporator coil and properly charge the system is $950.  This is the 2nd Bryant coil that failed, not a Burnsville Heating installation failure.  Because warranty is not an issue at this point, we will have a new evaporator coil delivered to your home and you can employ the company of your choice do the installation.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/07/15) */
this home was a new construction home we did for [redacted] almost 2 years ago. We put in the furnace, a/c, humidifier and duct work but the builder has a electric company wire everything in the home. my guess that the loose wire our...

tech found caused the contactor to fail. we do not wire any of our equipment. the service tech that was at the home is also new to our company and is told after business hours to charge since he does not have access to records after hours. I can not believe a home owner would make a mark against a company to the Revdex.com with out even contacting the business first to discuss.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/07/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I apologize for assuming that the new equipment Burnsville Heating & A/C put in had been tested after installation. The wiring issue could have been the fault of a different sub-contractor.
As for contacting the Business, the tech was adamant about the charges & policy. If this is not the case what is proposal for resolution?
Final Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2014/09/03) */
In response to the last letter sent from the customer I will respond with saying that the closing on their new home was 9-2012 and the system has been operational for approximately 2 years with no calls for service. Our proposal for resolution is a full reimbursement of his charges.

. I spoke with [redacted] on 8-29-2014 and told him for some reason his request had not been heard by me. I apologized to him and told him we would schedule the repairs to install the A/C rack that he had requested from us earlier this...

year. We scheduled with him for his repairs on 9-4-2014 and we have gone out and made those corrections for him. Please let me know if I need to do anything else at this point. Thanks.

June 17th 2016 This individual has had thousands of dollars in “free” service from Burnsville Heating. See below. Complaint ID # [redacted]                         Per the Revdex.com The concern was submitted on 7/1/2015 and was assigned an ID of [redacted]. Below is the information provided by the consumer.   Per complainant with the Revdex.com “Burnsville would not accept responsibility and take care of the repair because they were convinced someone else had worked on the unit. I am further attesting that no one has been out to work on the unit and would ask Burnsville to accept responsibility, fix the unit, and replace the coolant.”              “At one point in May 2015, we called out our HomeSmart plan to bypass Burnsville altogether”   Per our technicians service notes Casey out 6-19-15 – found system flat on charge; pressure tested; found service valve not back seated-leaking; found dye in system; needs to be vac and charge; disconnect shut off; Homeowner will call if want done. No Charge to homeowner for this call.   Note: The last time Burnsville Heating was at the house was 6-12-13. Two years of continuous working order. No issues with refrigerant leak but found that a wire nut on the control voltage came loose causing the air conditioner not to start.  Our technician recommended a Precision Tune Up or have homeowner clean off condensing unit as it is getting full of cottonwood.   The service call previous to 6-12-13 was on 3-22-12 to replace the evaporator coil at no charge under warranty which means that from 2012 to 2015 there were no issues regarding refrigerant leaks and the air conditioner was functioning fine for three years, not months as stated by complainant.  The warranty on this replacement evaporator coil coincides with the original evaporator coil warranty that expired October 2015.   I would also like to point out our service notes relating to the replacement of the evaporator coil.  Left message for homeowner on 8-23-11 that coil is here.  Left message again on 9-8-11, upon arriving to shop in am, homeowner left message on er service that they need to cancel the appointment.  Will call back to reschedule.   August 2011 to March 2012 - 6 months to call back to reschedule, while we ordered the part, and paid for the part.  We do not get reimbursed until warranty claim is filed with the failed part.   Per complainant with the Revdex.com “In June 2015, I submitted a Revdex.com Complaint asking them to facilitate resolution. Burnsville did come and out and repair the unit at that point, but the air conditioner only worked for a few weeks. We made calls in June, July, and September asking them to come out and look at it”   As a resolution to the Revdex.com complaint, we dispatched a technician on July 17th, 2015, again at No Charge to do the chargeable ($683.00 value) service mentioned on 6-19-15.    We have no further record of any issues relating to the air conditioner until April 22, 2016 when again we dispatched a technician at No Charge.  He discovered that the replacement evaporator coil had failed.  The warranty on the evaporator coil has expired and we recommended replacement for at a cost of $1250.00   Keeping in mind that the manufacturer recommends annual maintenance, we have no record of us performing any maintenance on the furnace or air conditioner.
