We contacted Mrs*** with estimate to repair vehicle, she stated she was going to speak with her husband to decide on going forward with repair, but that he was asleepService rep stated, will put outside and wait for your replyShe
then stated-no, go ahead and repair vehicle.(asstmanager was the one that made call, tech was present as well as he was waiting on instructionBoth confirmed they were told to proceed with repair) Mr *** contacted myself after repairs were completed and was unhappy with cost of repair.After reviewing bill, stated he could have had repair done elseware for less using aftermarket partswe are a VW dealership and quoted factory replacement parts,and were given authorization to repair vehicleWe serviced vehicle as quoted and stand behind our repair

They had started the work prior to making the call or would not have said they had to put the vehicle back together for it to go outside, that was the only reason it was given the go aheadFor the price of factory replacement parts and high labor charges the fan could be replaced almost timesJust because "we are a VW dealer" doesn't give you the right to gouge customersWill not be going back to this dealership or any in the Luther family nor recommending to anyone

I am rejecting this response because:
I got the attached email from Scott *** at Burnsville VW stating they are sending a check in the amount of $for the diagnostic charge. I have not responded to the email because I was told it was in response my claim through Revdex.com and since I had started the claim through Revdex.com, I did not want to disrupt the chain flow of communication.Furthermore, they said they had tried to reach out to me via phone several times and I only had one missed phone call from them on 11/at 12:with no voicemail left. Since there was no voicemail left, I had no reason to believe the phone call was valid. However, after I had submitted my claim to Revdex.com about them, I still get phone calls from the Luther Network trying to get me to go into Burnsville for Recall work to be done on my car and I continue to tell them, not a chance until I get my money back

Response received via e-mail to Revdex.com:Our service manager tried to call him several times last week before he left on vacation and [redacted]’s voicemail was full…[redacted] had his oil changed elsewhere and it was spilled all over  he then came here thinking he had an oil leak (warranty concern) , we...

cleaned it off and pulled off his belly pan to power wash it – these things are not covered by Volkswagen’s  warranty and we pay our techs and it sounds like he thinks it should be free of charge when he should be going after his mechanic for any reimbursement .
