Burton Signworks, Inc. Reviews (1)

Review: Contacted Burton Signworks in Nov.2014 for creation of outside sign on building. After multiple correspondences with rep, Lisa Billings, an agreement was made to go through with ordering/manufacturing a sign. A computer rendering sent via e-mail showed the sign to appear ok , with the exception of the font differences on both sides of the building (they did not match). This was not caught by us. We thought that we were dealing with professionals and they should have secondarily caught the differences. For their service we paid a down payment of 50% ($3,140.65) on 11/20/14.The sign was delivered for installation the second week in February 2015. When they installed the first portion of the sign we noticed that the sign was unreadable and absolutely off from the computer rendering that was presented to us. The race bar was painted too light and did not match the color of the building as agreed upon.We were very upset and asked the workers to stop installation, we called the office and spoke to Luke to let him know that we are not happy with the product. For two hours we were waiting for response from him with the installers. At the end they received the command to keep installing and disregarding our wishes. We placed SEVERAL calls to the office about how upset we are with how the sign was unreadable from the street. It looked like a white blob, defeating the purpose of the sign. We demanded to take the sign down and break the contract because of poor quality. Two weeks later they agreed to remove the sign, by talking to the owner of Burton S[redacted]. We agreed to give them one last chance to fix the problem. This was their last shot at customer satisfaction. For more than two weeks we were without a sign again, losing business!Luke called and wanted verification from us before installing the second sign. Upon delivery, the raceway still didn't match. We called the office and talked to Luke and T.J. and both promised to give a full refund. After several calls we still don't have a refund or respond.Desired Settlement: $3,140.65 as refund of deposit and additional $5,000.00 for the loss of business due to lack of advertisement, rudeness of employees at Burton S[redacted], especially Lisa B[redacted].
