1) *** Called MVR because they were referred to us and we went out to her home to inspect her roof for leaks into her back closed in patio room.2) Upon inspection it was determined and explained that the entire roof was out of date and hail damaged and all of it the flat roofs and
the shingle gable roof needed to be replaced/coated.3) Contract is for flat roof only and this roof is not leaking3) She stated that money was coming from litigation for hail damage and would do the whole thing later but that she could only pay for the coating of the flat roof seams in the back.4) While original crew was out there they thought it would also be good to seal the seams on the East roof so they did (it was discussed and approved) we did that at no extra charge5) Later customer called with complaint that there was a leak in her bedroom and that she now had the money to seal in both roof systems with silicone6) MVR coated the PipeJacks and up shingles and over the two (East and South) roof systems.7) Miss *** called and stated that it was still leaking8) We could not find the leak on the roof but went further and coated again the east roof that continued to have a leak in the interior9) The leak persistedThere is no attic or crawl space to determine leaking from the roof but it was discovered that there was a Plumbing pipe that was the culprit of the leak to the Master Bedroom. (Which we did not charge her for)10) In the south room there continues to remain a leak because the shingles must be replacedThis was not a part of the scope as Miss *** did was not ready to pay.11) We have gone well above and beyond the scope for the customer to fix her leaks out side of replacing what she was explained in the beginning needed to be replaced12) The damage to the interior and structure has been an ongoing problem for many years

1) In September of 2012 we were called out by *** *** to come and give him a free full inspection of his roofing systems to determine where and why it was leaking in several locations.2) We then gave him a proposal to coat just the portion over his office due to rusting and roof failures but never decided to move forward with the projectIt was out understanding at that time that's all he owned.3) In March *** *** called again and the work was assigned to a project manager Philip.4) The inspection determined that the entire roof coating system have been deteriorated and rust was beginning to ensueIf this was not taken care of soon then he would begin to have corrosion through many of his metal panels beyond repair and would have to have them replaced. 5) We gave *** *** a very good price to coat the roof and give it another years life expectancyHe did not like the price at the time but said he would raise the money to do a whole coating in a yearBut, right now just desired to fix the old leaks over his office that no one could seem to fix and a couple of new leaks that had just begun happen.6) A Scope and amount was given to *** *** to fix all the existing leaks over his office and replace a missing down spout. 7) *** *** asked if we could throw in the cleaning of the algae off the front of the building at no cost, to which we agreed.8) *** *** asked for an additional discount of $and he would sign the contract thenWe agreed and implemented the contract9) We did everything according to spec and additionally he came up with two other leaks that were not discovered due to not having access to the officesWe took care of those leaks also at no additional charge.10) Months later *** *** began to experience some new leaks. He has recently twisted the wording of "old and new leaks" of the contract in order to create a free maintenance program that when ever he gets a new leak we should take care of it at no cost.9) Occasionally we run into people that believe we owe them more than was was scripted because they are above the contractUnfortunately this individual is one of those types of personsBecause we believe in going above and beyond to make the customer feel good and provide good word of mouth advertising we have fixed several of those new leaksThese new leaks will only continue to happen as his roof is degraded and needs to be coatedIt is in his best interest that he follow our original advise in 2012 and seal in the ENTIRE roof for the next years with a commercial coating systemMcAllen Valley Roofing can no longer afford to be not for profit with this customer and desires that he be reported to the Revdex.com as having unfair business to business practices
