Review: On the 1st week an April 2014 we took our [redacted] in for an oil leak at Burtons Auto Repair. According to them it required a timing belt, crank shaft seal, camshaft seal, anti-freeze plus shop supplies for a total of $627.40 including labor. It took about a week, we picked the car up on 4/11/14 and paid when picking the vehicle up,(however, after going back to get another copy of the receipt it was marked PIF 6/4/14, we have bank documentation it was paid in April 2014 if this information is needed, we will gladly supply) after 27 days and 1,466 miles the car was completely empty of oil, so the leak had NOT been fixed. We notified the owner [redacted] and took the car back in. After more than 3 weeks and numerous calls he finally checked our vehicle and told us it needs an oil pump and it would cost us another $700.00!!!!!!! This is an outrage, if we took the vehicle in for an OIL LEAK, why was it not discovered then that we needed an OIL PUMP???? It seems to me, this was nothing more than a scam to collect money from us, we most certainly do not have. We tried to resolve this matter with them, but to no avail.Desired Settlement: We would like the repair made at no additional cost!

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the company and he stated that the consumers brought the car in and he repaired the car and gave it back to the consumers. [redacted] stated that he showed the consumers the part and the work that they completed. When they came back, the oil pump had worn out and he told them that he can put a seal on it but if it happens again they will have to replace the pump.
