I have reviewed the response made by
the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Well they fixed the light -for now- which apparently they do not stand behind as they have made it quite clear that the light that has gone out times is not their responsibilityGood to know that the poor quality of the electrical work from Buscaglia Decks is not guaranteed even though Steve the owner -after my first problem- said just to call if there is a problem and "they will cover the repair"And, after paying almost $14,for this deck it still crealoud that it's almost embarrassing to have companyI was told by Buscaglia decks that this creaking was due to a certain type of pressure treated wood and this happens to "one out of fifty decks" so I guess that every 50th person is stuck with a noisy deckUnacceptableI'm convinced that Buscaglia decks has no intention of fixing the noises amplifying from my obviously poorly constructed deck so as a courtesy I will continue to recommend my neighbors and acquiantences to avoid Buscaglia decks for future consideration for their deck needsRegards, *** ***
Revdex.com spoke to Dawn at business and the following was relayed: The light was fixed prior to Revdex.com notice, which was not their responsibility, as a matter of good will. Issue stated of floorboard loose was resolved in 2013, Steve from business will call about creaking.
Revdex.com spoke to Steve at business and the following was relayed: We went out to correct the light several times. We did finally find and resolve the issue, which was a manufacturer's defect and not due to anything to my business or workmanship. The squeaking of the deck is due to some Pressure Treated, when drying out leaves a substance that causes the noise. Originally we found that spraying with silicone was the best solution. A second solution has been identified and I will contact the customer in the next couple of days to discuss.
