This company was hired to replace a lawn with new sod. The sod never took and was dead within 2 weeks. They claimed they would fix it but time after time they did not keep their word. Now I am stuck with no lawn as they completely killed the old lawn with chemicals in Ofer to lay the new sod, as I was told. After months they finally walked away with a 'see you in court? meaning if I brought him to small claims court he would win. I am done trying after back and forth texting, so I will move on and am about my money. A neighbor up the street used the same company after seeing my sod put down, same exact scenario, same promises, same lies and both lawns are dead.

I was approached by *** and her husband to sod their yard after they saw my work at their neighbors home. We agreed on price and I got to work immediately. I prepared their yard for, and laid down the sod. I told them before I began the process, and several times throughout that they needed to get a spray company to come out after 2 weeks to spray for bugs as well as fungus. Both of which are common issues with freshly laid sod in the summer time in Florida. Durning the 2-3 weeks following me laying the sod I was called out on several different occasions to set their sprinkler box, and stated the sod looked dry and they needed to water it more often. I also found bugs which I showed them under the sod, and stated again that it needed to be treated. I would continually get calls from *** and her husband cursing at me because their sod was dying. I stated several times in those conversations that they still have yet to get their sod treated. I still continued to try and fix it as best as I could even though they would not treat the sod. I bought 10/10/10 as well as iron, and put on the sod to try and help as it was in bad shape. All while being harassed and screamed at. Finally after a month they got their sod treated, and about 50% came back healthy. A good bit of the areas were dead due to fungus. I offered to install new sod with no labor fees if they bought the product. I was still being harassed and cursed at. I still continued to do other things at their property for 2 months after. Mowed their back yard, trimming, sprayed rocks around pool deck, and a major leaf clean up job which I was never paid for. I stopped showing up when I was threatened.
