November 29, Revdex.com [redacted] [redacted] RE: Complaint JD # [redacted] To whom it may concern, Sorry for the late reply on this complaintMy personal email at tanner-motors.com sends all Revdex.com emails to my spam folder because of the amount of junk mail from Revdex.com that we have received in the pastI did some research and found that one of my employees did open the original email from you guys but forgot to inform meA phone call would have been niceAlso you have my wife as the contact on the letter she typically only works in the office one day a weekAs well you have our old address, we moved over a year agoIn future correspondence regarding issues of this nature could you please send them to my attention? Contact information listed belowIn addition I would ask that this complaint be reopened so we can respondI take great pride in my business and the great team that I work with on a daily basisWe have served the Valley for nearly thirteen years and have yet to have a· complaintMy last conversation with client was on November 8th and she told me she didn't want to discuss this situation anymorePlease let me know.l will m.ake sure to check my spamfolder if a response sent via email

Dear Revdex.com,I am rejecting T*** Motor's response to my complaint for a very simple reasonI attempted to resolve this issue with MrTanner, as I stated in my original letter of complaint to the Revdex.com, for over a month and was ignoredI spoke with MrT*** once to attempt to resolve this issue in September after my original repair was done at his shop, he said he would get back to me the following Monday and I didn't hear from him despite calling him and leaving multiple messages with his service manager, Derrick and also on his voicemailThe day after I filed my complaint with the Revdex.com, MrT*** called me back and had numerous excuses for not calling me back when he had said he would and made me feel as though I had made the mistakes with not getting all the recommended repairs done for my carI reiterated to MrT*** that the I brought my car to his business for a specific issue, and that both repairs that were done had nothing to do with the issue I had brought it in forIt didn't matter what I said in my conversation with MrT*** on November 8, to attempt to resolve the issue, he made me feel like I was in the wrongIt was very disheartening and demeaningI just wanted MrT*** to do the right thing and fix my car for the original issue I brought it in for, but like I said, my conversation with him never got to that point. Thank you for your timeI really appreciate it.***

Again, I do apologize for the lack of my communication and failing to call Ms*** back in a timely mannerThat was 100% my fault In our initial diagnosis of this vehicle we found five different permanent fault codes stored in the vehicle computer systemWe recommended approximately $in repairs to address the customers main concern of the vehicle not starting at timesThese repairs consisted of repairing or replacing a damaged main engine wiring harness, camshaft position sensor, atmospheric pressure sensor and a fuel pump relayMs***’s invoice stated this “Technician scanned vehicle for fault codes and inspected and found multiple fault codes in vehicle. Technician fault traced and recommend starting with engine wiring harness repair, replacing faulty camshaft position sensor, replacing fuel pump relayreplacing accelerator cable and replacing atmospheric sensor and retesting, need to start with known failed components that are contributing to issue, client declined all repairs, chose to do relay and accelerator cable.” In addition to the diagnostic, we performed a complete vehicle safety inspectionDuring this inspection, we found multiple other issues with the vehicle and noted them in our inspectionWe always prioritize issues with client’s vehicle putting safety issues at the top of the listOur biggest concern that we stated in this inspection is that the throttle cable was badly worn and frayingIf a throttle cable breaks or sticks because of these flaws it can cause the throttle/accelerator pedal to become unresponsive or stuck openIn this case a driver could potentially not be able to accelerate or in a worst case the accelerator pedal will get stuck and the driver will not be able to control the vehicleWith this said my service advisor Derrick called the client and explained all the concerns we found in her carAfter explaining these issues and the cost of each repair my service advisor was informed by the client that she could not afford to do all the needed repairsWhich we completely understandWhen we run into a situation like this we advise our clients as best as we can, with the clients understanding that without doing all the recommended repairs we can’t guarantee a 100% fixPer my service advisor the client stated she had approximately $that she could afford nowConsidering the amount of issue’s we see with fuel pump relays in Arizona and the fact that her fuel pump relay was stamped from which would make it the original fuel pump relay that was installed at the factoryIn addition, my service advisor knew that the accelerator cable was a major safety concern and he did his job by recommending it to be replacedYes, the cable had absolutely nothing to do with the client’s main concern of the vehicle not starting at timesMs*** was informed that with her budget the fuel pump relay would be a good place to start on the starting issue and the accelerator cable due to the safety concernThis of course is our side of the story and as you well know every story has two sides We take great pride and truly appreciate all our clients that trust us with their vehiclesOur online reviews will support this and I believe this is how Ms*** found usMy wife and I have built this business on integrity, honesty, and customer serviceWe obviously have failed to achieve this with Ms*** and for that we are very sorry In my last phone conversation with Ms*** she informed me that she had found someone to do the work on her vehicle for a fraction of the cost that we had quotedWhat I would offer to Ms*** is this If vehicle is still having the problem or if the work was not done at the other shopWe would be willing to look at the vehicle again or complete the work we had quoted at a 30% discountAs well we can figure out a payment plan that would work for both parties. If vehicle is now fixed I will offer to refund one hour’s labor at $along with the fuel pump relay at $plus applicable sales taxWhich would bring the total to $ Again Ms*** I do apologize for my lack of communication in this processLife has thrown a few to many curve balls recentlyPlease let me know how you would like to proceed either via Revdex.com or emailI’m on my way out of the country and will not return until February 8thI will have very limited internet and email access but will do my best to get back with you before the 8th Thank youChris T***T*** Motors***Thank you
