The following is my reply to (10747855) customer [redacted].The date (7/25/15) the customer states as the installation date is incorrect. CAM HVAC Services, installed a new Trane XLi18036 condenser with a Trane air handler on 7/29/25. Customer states we had a problem getting unit started....

This is correct. There was an issue with the wiring (this is normal) I only told the customer to keep him informed. Got the new ac system up and running. Everything was working and cooling fine. [redacted] was happy and said what a great job we did and thank us. I tried several times calling the customer Thursday and Friday to follow up to see how things were. We do this with all our customers. However [redacted] never answered his phone. I received a call from [redacted] on 8/1/15 saying his ac system wasn't working. I was out of state until Sunday night. When I got back in town on 8/2/15 myself and my mechanic went out the the job site. We arrived at7pm. The ac system was not running. We located the problem. It was a back pitched drain in the crawl space. We took pictures went up to show [redacted] the problem. CAM fixed the drain at no charge to the customer. This had nothing to due with our installation. When we left [redacted]'s home on 8/2/15 he was happy and thank us for coming out. He also asked me for some business cards so he could hand them out.As for the customer stating I told him to not turn the temperature down past 70. This is correct. I tried to explain to the customer the reason is: that over time it could and will cause damage to the compressor. As for the customer stating I would not fill out "his" application. This too is correct. I explained to [redacted] on 7/29/15 that the application he had was only part of the whole rebate application and that he would receive all pertinent paper work from our office. We due this for several reason: 1. To ensure everything is filled out correctly. 2. We have load calculation papers that need to be sent in with application.  3. We also need to send in a paid in full receipt. (We had to wait  for check to clear in order to be paid in full)4. Everything gets mailed out all at the same time so nothing gets lost.Once check was cleared our office mail out the rebate package via the US Post Office with a return receipt. We received the return receipt saying [redacted] received his rebate package. [redacted]'s system has been working fine.
