This is a total rip offThey do not deliver what they promise and then threaten to destroy my business for asking for a refund

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. They still maintain that I owe them money and maintain they did not present advertisementTheir website stated that I would not have to pay if I wasn't approved for fundingI wasn't approved for funding and they are still asking for paymentI paid the first $1,to keep my business/personal credit from being attackedI admitted to myself that I made a mistake trusting themI mistakenly thought it was a reputable company capable of following through with their advertisement and wanted to put it behind me and keep my credit in tactBut then later decided I wasn't going to give them any more money and decided I'd seek retribution since they indeed reneged on their advertisementI can 100% guarantee that if their website said in August what it says now (they changed it but I have a print screen of the original) I would have never contacted the company let alone signed a contract with themTheir advertisement of get funding or do not pay and their failure to accept responsibility for that advertisement is why I do not accept their answerAlso, I did try to work out the situation before filing this complaintSeptember 10, is when I asked them to confirm what their website says regarding getting funded or I do not pay and *** *** contacted me stating they said they offer a funding optionThat IS NOT what the website said so right then I was alerted to the possibility of the advertisement but when I did not get funding, October 16, I offered a payment plan while still trying to secure the funding promised, then on November 17, I offered another payment arrangement which was rejectedAgain I did this not because I agreed with having to pay but because I was trying to keep my business/personal credit from being attacked since I was working so hard to build my business creditThen I sought legal council who agreed about the advertisement and after research the attorney also found the company to be fraudulentSo again, I DO NOT accept the company's response.Regards,*** ***

very unclear what concern exactlyis. The client reached out to us early August 2014 and contracted to have use perform a series ofservices to assist her in obtaining business financing. At the time of contract no fees werecharged to the client what so ever. Once our services were complete we presented the work tothe client. The client reviewed everything presented and elected on her own will to make apayment of 1,000.00 toward her invoice of 2,495.00. Since then we have made many attempts tocollect the remaining balance but have not heard from the client at any point. The client has notmade any attempt to contact us to discuss her file nor a concession of any sort.At no point throughout our service do we guarantee or imply any funding verbally or in writing. We are very well aware of our responsibility to the client not over promise. Review: I signed a contract with Business Funding Partners because their website states the following and I quote, "In short, we offer coaching for you to get funding; and you pay NOTHING until you do. If we cannot help you get approved you do not pay. 100% Risk Free Coaching - Free Unless we Help You Get Funding. You worry about your business, we'll worry about all the steps to get you working capital, with NO risk. Our years of helping businesses get working capital allows us to offer you this Risk Free process to get your cash, free if we can't deliver. You Apply. You get Pre-Approved. You get funding; it's that simple!" They have an animated video that says the same. When I talked to their representative, [redacted], I was very upfront & told him what my personal credit was, told him the nature of my business & what I would need the funding for. He said that wouldn't be a problem. The actual contract does not make the same promises as the website. It says the company provides coaching services. I signed the contract, they put 2 trade lines on my business credit. I did everything they told me to do & did not get funding, but they are making me pay the $2,495 which is completely against what their website purports. I have consulted an attorney who did some research & came to the conclusion that the company is a scam. The website has only been around since February 2014 & is set to expire in a few months & has already been through 4 registrars. The mailing address is virtual. If googled there are many other companies with the same address. And they were not found under the California Secretary of State business register. Before I consulted an attorney, concerned about them ruining my business credit that I was working so hard to build, I paid them $1,000 rather than try to fight. They have since changed the copy and video on the website, but I have a print screen of what the copy said before it was changed (video already changed). They put me in legal collections and threatened to ruin my credit.Desired Settlement: I would at least like to be released from the contract and not have to pay the remaining balance of $1,495 and also have no negative reporting or affect on my business and/or personal credit. I would also like a refund of my $1,000 I paid within 10 days which is in compliance with what their website advertising stated: I get funding or I do not pay.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. They still maintain that I owe them money and maintain they did not present false advertisement. Their website stated that I would not have to pay if I wasn't approved for funding. I wasn't approved for funding and they are still asking for payment. I paid the first $1,000 to keep my business/personal credit from being attacked. I admitted to myself that I made a mistake trusting them. I mistakenly thought it was a reputable company capable of following through with their advertisement and wanted to put it behind me and keep my credit in tact. But then later decided I wasn't going to give them any more money and decided I'd seek retribution since they indeed reneged on their advertisement. I can 100% guarantee that if their website said in August 2014 what it says now (they changed it but I have a print screen of the original) I would have never contacted the company let alone signed a contract with them. Their false advertisement of get funding or do not pay and their failure to accept responsibility for that false advertisement is why I do not accept their answer. Also, I did try to work out the situation before filing this complaint. September 10, 2014 is when I asked them to confirm what their website says regarding getting funded or I do not pay and [redacted] contacted me stating they said they offer a funding option. That IS NOT what the website said so right then I was alerted to the possibility of the false advertisement but when I did not get funding, October 16, 2014 I offered a payment plan while still trying to secure the funding promised, then on November 17, 2014 I offered another payment arrangement which was rejected. Again I did this not because I agreed with having to pay but because I was trying to keep my business/personal credit from being attacked since I was working so hard to build my business credit. Then I sought legal council who agreed about the false advertisement and after research the attorney also found the company to be fraudulent. So again, I DO NOT accept the company's response.Regards,[redacted]

Review: Business Funding Partners told me it would help me get business funding for my real estate company by adding trade lines to my business profile. However, the company did not inform me that real estate companies are on the "blacklist" when it comes to obtaining funding from lenders. On January 19, 2016 I was sent funding requirements that stated this fact. However, I was not told this when I was being charged $1,495 for their services six months prior. I want a full refund of my $1,495.Desired Settlement: Refund of $1,495
