I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have reported this fictitious transaction to deduct from my [redacted] Debit account to my local bank because there are no details on the transaction except "RECURRING PAYMENT INTL" as description. Attached is a screenshot with Account Number cleansed/redacted. Further investigation led to [redacted] confirming that the said deduction was done by BusinessInsider. This is to report further that BusinessInsider never sent me details of confirmation as required by US ecommerce regulations, as follows:(1) BusinessInsider failed to provide a physical contact address and telephone number to communicate regarding the online transaction.(2) BusinessInsider failed to provide a confirmation of any amount deducted.(3) BusinessInsider failed to acknowledge all orders. In fact there was no deduction of $1 on the Trial subscription. (No amount was deducted and no confirmation of subscription). Therefore I as the customer was led to believe that I have no subscription and nothing to pay and nothing to receive.(4) BusinessInsider failed to provide the digital goods which are promoted as downloads to be accessed by subscriber.(5) BusinessInsider failed to provide a written confirmation of order following purchase, for example a confirmation email.(6) BusinessInsider failed to allow a "cooling off" period where by the customer can change their mind and cancel or return the order.(7) BusinessInsider failed to inform the customer of their right to cancel their order with no loss.Given the failure of BusinessInsider to conform to the US ecommerce regulations, I am reporting this to  the Business Bureau as a record to help me recover the amount of USD $300 deducted from my [redacted] debit account.Sincerely and thanks in advance,[redacted]

Do not do business with this company, they are unprofessional and they do not care if they are hurting people with their articles and posting. They have posted personal info on internet and refused to remove them. They should be out of business. Some poeple are making their money by destroying people life. This is shame.

Our system indicates that the customer signed up for the BI Intelligence $1 trial subscription on December **, 2016. The link to our subscription sign up ([redacted]) states that the customer will be billed $295/month after the...

first trial period. Our system also indicates that the customer has received and opened mass mails that are sent to subscribers. We also don't have any record of the customer reaching out to resolve the issue directly.

I have reviewed the customer's points addressed in response to my original reply. When the customer visits the BI Intelligence site through their account, they can see a help email address at the bottom incase there are any questions regarding their subscription. Our system indicates they were successfully charged $1 on December **, 2016 through their card on file after a failed payment attempts. Our system received a confirmation email, which is triggered when the customer receives a confirmation email, which the system also indicates they have received & opened on December **, 2016. The trial site does not mention downloading capabilities, where it is the customer's responsibility to visit the site to view the content. At the bottom of the $1 trial sign up page, there is information regarding $1 for the first month and $295 for the following months. Below that section is information verifying the following statement: Try All-Acce ss membership for the full 30 days for just $1 — if you are not completely satisfied, you may cancel before the end of your trial period and be charged nothing more. All the research and information you’ve received through your trial period are yours to keep. This trial is in place of the "cool off" period where they ultimately test the All-Access subscription for only $1. This customer has already raised a chargeback with their bank. Because of this, we are not able to offer a refund directly. We will now have to work with our banks to release the funds. I am more than happy to provide screenshots to reiterate my statements above.
