We began service for customer in March We did not apply a pre-emergent weed control at that point, because the Mr had seeded a cool weather grass on his own that spring We communicated to Mr that he would struggle with certain weeds due to not having the pre-emergent Mr
performed his own aeration and seeding fall of (This is a service that we can provide and we do recommend annually on every cool season grass) We did not apply a post emergent weed control treatment after his seeding to allow his seed the best chance of germination There are no contracts with our services Every invoice and order confirmation reiterates that our services are continuous services and will continue every 6-weeks unless we are notified by the homeowner otherwise We sent a renewal letter in early November showing the services on order for The letter indicated that unless he wished to make changes or cancel, no further action was due at that time We treated on March 7, and then again on May 2, On May 16, we received a voice message from the Mr requesting cancellation of services We cancelled the services at that time and attempted to connect with him to determine if there were any issues On May 17, 2017, Mr spoke with Accounting and told him he didn't agree to services and wasn't going to pay Accounting explained again that it was a continuous service and that payment would be required for those two treatments We did not hear from him again until August 1st He called and spoke with a customer service rep in our office who listened to his concerns and then took care of the charges for the two treatments in because we didn't want him to leave with a bad taste in his mouth for Weed Man We feel that we have not done anything unethical We would like this to be considered settled
