Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/12/09) */
The complaint you have listed is addressed to [redacted]'s Truck Repair, this is incorrect. The complaint should be listed against [redacted] as this was a personal sale, not one associated with the business. In addition, we do not have, and have...

never had, a contract with [redacted], the contract for the car he is referring to is with [redacted]. On this contract, the vehicle is listed in as-is condition. [redacted] had spoken with [redacted] on several occasions, and they both noted that the speedometer sensor was non-functioning. [redacted] agreed to get this fixed herself. And as [redacted] is not part of the contract, we cannot discuss any further information on this matter with him, but we will discuss this with the Revdex.com in order to clear this matter.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 13, 2015/12/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
[redacted] has been known to intimidate females, specially ones with children and as I am [redacted]'s fiancee I will dealing with this matter with between Revdex.com and [redacted] At no point in time did [redacted] EVER agree to get the sensor fixed, I have been by her side since about 3 days after she got the car.I should note that the complaints that [redacted] made to [redacted] about the car were not about the speedometer, which was not a sensor but the cable. The complaints were about the transmission which was slipping, not shifting, the Heater and Defroster which did not work at all, and the issue with the radiator which caused it to over heat and not shift properly. Also the car was NOT sold As-Is due to the fact that [redacted] stated to [redacted] as soon as she got the title that he would either fix or trade out the vehicle due to the fact that the vehicle was not in proper working order when he sold it to her. He agreed to fix or trade out the car if [redacted] would give him the Social Security Cards for her children so that he can file them on his taxes, I have three separate witnesses to this fact, and one witness to the fact that he has tried it in the past as well. I should also note that [redacted] does not have a copy of this "contact" that [redacted] is speaking about, and that both [redacted] and [redacted] signed the title with a purchase price of $200 and [redacted] can produce $200 in receipts for payments made to [redacted]. Until [redacted] agrees to return the items within the car, including the social security numbers, and cease intimidating [redacted] through outside sources, he is to deal with me directly through the Revdex.com, as I will NOT allow him to intimidate and threaten her. Nor will I allow her to meet him out in the middle of nowhere alone as he wants her to do in order to get her belongings.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 15, 2015/12/14) */
As for [redacted]'s failure to return the items contained within the vehicle, in this message you will find a citation from the Federal Trade Commission regarding the laws of personal property contained within the repossessed vehicle, as well as a direct link to the website which is a credible source being that the webpage ends in .gov. Also you will find information regarding the unlawful possession of Social Security Cards and the proper location of the statements according to the Federal Government of what constitutes fraud.
"Personal Property in the Vehicle
Regardless of the method used to dispose of a repossessed car, a creditor may not keep or sell any personal property found inside. In some states, your creditor must tell you what personal items were found in your car and how you can retrieve them. Your creditor also may be required to use reasonable care to prevent anyone else from removing your property from the car. If your creditor can't account for articles left in your vehicle, you may want to speak to an attorney about your right to compensation."
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0144-vehicle-repossession
After reading the FTC information, I believe that [redacted] is required by federal law to return the items within the car, and if any of the items have been destroyed or fail to be returned, I am fully within my rights to obtain an attorney for my self and [redacted] as I have private financial information inside the vehicle to sue [redacted] for damages and loss of property, I also am well within my rights to begin the process of charging [redacted] with Fraud and related activity in connection with identification documents, authentication features, and information in regards to the Social Security Cards that are in his possession, which are a government document and lawfully he can not possess according to U.S. Code, Title 18, Part I, Chapter 47, Subsection 1028, article (a) parts 3 & 7: (3) knowingly possesses with intent to use unlawfully or transfer unlawfully five or more identification documents (other than those issued lawfully for the use of the possessor), authentication features, or false identification documents. [redacted] has in his possession Four Social Security Cards, and One possibly more Birth Certificates. (7) knowingly transfers, possesses, or uses, without lawful authority, a means of identification of another person with the intent to commit, or to aid or abet, or in connection with, any unlawful activity that constitutes a violation of Federal law, or that constitutes a felony under any applicable State or local law. (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1028) The intent in this case is his desire to use them to file taxes, knowing full well that he does not have children, they have not lived with him for 6 months of the year, nor are they his by law, marriage, or birth.
