After a job they did on a rental property of mine in White Rock, my contractor discovered a Y connection in the gutter had water backing upWhen he opened it up, he discovered the installer hadn't cut a hole for the water to flow throughI called the owner and he was extremely rude and refused to even apologizeThat tells me it's business practice for them
Contacted the company on the phone to arrange gutter cleaning. I was given a quote range of $180-$210. Appointment was set up for Monday afternoon. No contact from the company by 3 PM so they were called. They said they were just finishing a job and would try to make it before dark. They arrived just about sunset. The quote then increased to $240.00. Gutters were in need of cleaning so I agreed. Company website shows before and after pictures of exterior of gutters cleaned as well.
About 20 minutes later they were done. I was informed that to do the exterior of the gutters was extra. I accept I should have clarified when getting quote. Charge was decreased to $220 + GST. Works out to about $600 an hour. When I complained I was given a $50 discount for the next visit. It's unlikely I'll use it.
This is a review as opposed to a complaint because my gutters were badly clogged and I did agree to the work.[redacted]
