I am rejecting this response because: Bruce's Body Shop is blatantly lying My vehicle was not towed in without their knowledge as I had spoken with the GM, prior to scheduling the tow, in which he informed me to bring the vehicle in There is no possible way that I could have done what they are accusing me of to several of their employees as I've only spoken to the lady at the front desk who has transferred me either to [redacted] or the GM Majority of my conversations have been at work in front of my fellow co-workers and they can respond on my behalf My co-workers have heard my conversations and there has not been a time that I've just not responded where they felt it was necessary to hang up on me If necessary, I will put a log together of all the times Bruce's and [redacted] have contacted me vsme contacting Bruce's The ONLY time that they have hung up on me was the last time I contacted them on March 23, I called at 2:pm (minutes) and 2:pm (minute) in which both times the GM hung up on me as he did not want to share Bruce's Business License Number I have listened every time they have spoken to me, but they have not listened to me nor have taken anything into consideration A USED fuse box was installed in my vehicle and without pulling fuses out you would not have noticed the damage underneath Their assumption that the fuse box has been tampered with is as I've had no reason to even look at my fuse box until this issue occurred on February 9, The fuses can be easily taken out with two fingers and/or some tweezers depending on the size of the fuses As I've stated before, it does not benefit me to tamper and damage my own fuse box I have been without my vehicle since February 9, and have either had to rent a vehicle or borrow a vehicle to drive to work and bring my child to daycare I do not benefit from missing days at work and my child missing days at daycare I have to pay for daycare whether my child is present or absent It is my understanding that a USED fuse box should have never been installed in my vehicle as it is an electrical device and a NEW OEM fuse box would have better benefited the vehicle Anything can fail immediately or over time depending on the condition of the item and how it was initially installed

I am rejecting this response because: it's all assumptions and no facts Yes, there were a pair of tweezers under the hood which was used to pull skinny fuses out That has nothing to do with the damage done to the pockets that the fuses are held in Pulling fuses out with two fingers (for the bigger ones) or using tweezers to pull smaller fuses out would not do the damage to the pockets of the fuses Since my vehicle was worked on years ago by Bruce's Body Shop, there has been no other work done on my vehicle My alarm system and aftermarket stereo were done within a year of purchasing the vehicle back in As stated before, the damage could not been seen when all of the fuses are in It could of been possible that when the used fuse box was installed that it was installed a certain way and upon taking the fuses out I could not put them back in the way it may have been rigged I don't know as I'm not a technician, but I do know for a fact that I did not do the damage to my fuse box as that does not benefit me in any possible way [redacted] informed me that Bruce's is not able to diagnose the issue due to they only complete the body repairs from the collision so who exactly completed all of the electrical work on my vehicle after my collision two years ago? This whole situation is ridiculous!

Dear [redacted] - In response to the complaint made by Ms [redacted] that we spoke about on the phone, I forgot to tell you how it all started with the customer being upset with us When she came in for her estimate she asked if we could change the bulb on her headlamp, which we told her we could try When my tech tried he said that the whole bumper had to removed in order to get to the headlamp to change the bulbWe told her that we could not just replace it, that it could take a couple hours to do and she did not want to pay to do thatWe told her if she decided to have us do it later then to let us know when she came back in for repairsSo when she came in at a later time to have the repairs done she called while the vehicle was here being repaired and asked to see if we could try and change the bulb We told her again that we would have to charge her some labor time to do itThe repairs she was here to have done were on the rear of the vehicle, not in the frontShe was mad and called her [redacted] Insbroker and complained to them, which they then called us to understand what was going onThey understood after we explained it to themHer vehicle was completed and ready to pick up on 10/@ 3: She told us she would not be able to pick It up till Friday 10/@ 3: She ended up not showing up to pick up her vehicle till Tuesday 10/20/and she was still not happy that we did not change the bulb for freeShe then went out to her vehicle and looked around in it and said that we took one of her floral floor mat from the rear seat of her carWe told her that nobody would take one floor matShe said that she had special ordered them I told her that if she felt we were at fault then she could order them herself and bring us the receipt and we would reimburse her for itShe then said she was going to call [redacted] because she was not happyShe was on the phone leaning up against our flag pole, which is not cemented in place, and I asked her not to do that because it moves and she just ignored meShe ended up stayed in our lot for over an hour on the phoneWhen the guys tried to talk to her she would just ignore themFinally our guys were trying to load up the cars for the night, and so we told her she was going to have to move her vehicle out of the lot or she would not be able to get outShe then said she wanted something in writing that she would be reimbursed and by that time after her being so rude to all of us here I told her that I would not put it in writing and I would like for her to leave because we were trying to close for the night. If there are any questions you may have in regards to my response please feel free to call me.Thank you,

Hi, I last spoke with the Bruce's Body Shop and *** (my insurance company) yesterday, March 22, *** informed me that they would not cover the repair Bruce's Body Shop would not share their business license number & hung up on my twice They will not
move forward with the repair because *** will not cover the cost I'm really not sure which business I should be complaining about or if I should have two separate complaints for each one.Thank you for your time

This vehicle was repaired years ago under a claim thru *** InsWhen this vehicle came in for repairs originally it had 101,miles on it and now there is 131,miles on itThe vehicle is a Toyota Corolla and the repairs were done as per the estimate written by *** Inswhich they dictate how the repairs are to be done*** insurance on their policies have their clients cars repairs done using Aftermarket parts, Used parts, then New parts and in that orderThe lead tech who worked on this vehicle inspects all used parts prior to being used on a vehicleIn order to change this fuse box you have to take it all apart, which includes pulling all the fusesI guarantee this box was NOT put in this vehicle in the condition it is right nowThere would be no way this vehicle would operate for yrs and almost 30,miles with the fuse box in it's current condition. If I felt that we had any responsibility at all for the condition of this fuse box I would replace itWhen we inspected this vehicle after it was towed in by Ms*** I saw various tools and fuses laying around on the cowl area and the pry marks to the electrical connectors looked fresh and shinyIf it was old it would look dirty or dull on those pried connectorsThere is also new wiring that has been done under the dash inside the vehicle, like an aftermarket stereo and wiring has been recently installed, which tells me that someone has been doing electrical work on this vehicle.(see pictures sent) The *** Ins rep and his supervisor also inspected this vehicle and has denied anything relating to her claim of bad repairsThe supervisor of *** has also had a hard time communicating with Ms ***I'm sorry that Ms*** feels like we have let her down, but I do not see where we are liable for her vehicles current issueSincerely, *** *** - Owner

I am rejecting this response because:First of all, I think it is a low down dirty shame that people have to resort to lies andomissions in order to make themselves look good or innocentI will now comment on there lies & omissions.I never told them I would pick the car up on the 16th because their fixing my headlight, which they told me they would do initially was still in question, when they finally told me they were not going to keep their word, I picked up the carI had a family funeral the day before pick upAlso, I just asked them to fix it because it was working fine before the accident(Lightbulb) I did not know what was wrong with it but they said they would fix it for me initially. They omitted the fact that he looked at me and said “something was wrong with me”I did nothing to deserve thatThey also forgot to mention that it was only when I asked them to “put it in writing that” they would reimburse me if I ordered the mat”, that they started mistreating meI felt I had a right to do that since they re on their word regarding the headlight. They said nothing about a “moveing pole”, they just asked me to stop leaning on it in a very nasty toneAs soon as they asked me I sat in my car. When the man told me they needed to lock up, I leftI was trying not to leave til my “mat” issue had been resolved but it never wasAll my mats were in place when I took my car to the lot to be fixed.Thank you,*** ***

I am rejecting this response because: it's all assumptions and no facts.  Yes, there were a pair of tweezers under the hood which was used to pull skinny fuses out.  That has nothing to do with the damage done to the pockets that the fuses are held in.  Pulling fuses out with two fingers (for the bigger ones) or using tweezers to pull smaller fuses out would not do the damage to the pockets of the fuses.  Since my vehicle was worked on 2 years ago by Bruce's Body Shop, there has been no other work done on my vehicle.  My alarm system and aftermarket stereo were done within a year of purchasing the vehicle back in 2007.  As stated before, the damage could not been seen when all of the fuses are in.  It could of been possible that when the used fuse box was installed that it was installed a certain way and upon taking the fuses out I could not put them back in the way it may have been rigged.  I don't know as I'm not a technician, but I do know for a fact that I did not do the damage to my fuse box as that does not benefit me in any possible way.  [redacted] informed me that Bruce's is not able to diagnose the issue due to they only complete the body repairs from the collision so who exactly completed all of the electrical work on my vehicle after my collision two years ago?  This whole situation is ridiculous!

Dear [redacted] -  In response to the complaint made by Ms. [redacted] that we spoke about on the phone, I forgot to tell you how it all started with the customer being upset with us.  When she came in for her estimate she asked if we could change the bulb on her headlamp, which we told her we...

could try.  When my tech tried he said that the whole bumper had to removed in order to get to the headlamp to change the bulb. We told her that we could not just replace it, that it could take a couple hours to do and she did not want to pay to do that. We told her if she decided to have us do it later then to let us know when she came back in for repairs. So when she came in at a later time to have the repairs done she called while the vehicle was here being repaired and asked to see if we could try and change the bulb.  We told her again that we would have to charge her some labor time to do it. The repairs she was here to have done were on the rear of the vehicle, not in the front. She was mad and called her [redacted] Ins. broker and complained to them, which they then called us to understand what was going on. They understood after we explained it to them. Her vehicle was completed and ready to pick up on 10/15 @ 3:00.  She told us she would not be able to pick It up till Friday 10/16 @ 3:00.  She ended up not showing up to pick up her vehicle till Tuesday 10/20/15 and she was still not happy that we did not change the bulb for free. She then went out to her vehicle and looked around in it and said that we took one of her floral floor mat from the rear seat of her car. We told her that nobody would take one floor mat. She said that she had special ordered them.  I told her that if she felt we were at fault then she could order them herself and bring us the receipt and we would reimburse her for it. She then said she was going to call [redacted] because she was not happy. She was on the phone leaning up against our flag pole, which is not cemented in place, and I asked her not to do that because it moves and she just ignored me. She ended up stayed in our lot for over an hour on the phone. When the guys tried to talk to her she would just ignore them. Finally our guys were trying to load up the cars for the night, and so we told her she was going to have to move her vehicle out of the lot or she would not be able to get out. She then said she wanted something in writing that she would be reimbursed and by that time after her being so rude to all of us here I told her that I would not put it in writing and I would like for her to leave because we were trying to close for the night. If there are any questions you may have in regards to my response please feel free to call me.Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because: Bruce's Body Shop is blatantly lying.  My vehicle was not towed in without their knowledge as I had spoken with the GM, prior to scheduling the tow, in which he informed me to bring the vehicle in.  There is no possible way that I could have done what they are accusing me of to several of their employees as I've only spoken to the lady at the front desk who has transferred me either to [redacted] or the GM.  Majority of my conversations have been at work in front of my fellow co-workers and they can respond on my behalf.  My co-workers have heard my conversations and there has not been a time that I've just not responded where they felt it was necessary to hang up on me.  If necessary, I will put a log together of all the times Bruce's and [redacted] have contacted me vs. me contacting Bruce's.  The ONLY time that they have hung up on me was the last time I contacted them on March 23, 2017.  I called at 2:51 pm (2 minutes) and 2:53 pm (1 minute) in which both times the GM hung up on me as he did not want to share Bruce's Business License Number.  I have listened every time they have spoken to me, but they have not listened to me nor have taken anything into consideration.  A USED fuse box was installed in my vehicle and without pulling fuses out you would not have noticed the damage underneath.  Their assumption that the fuse box has been tampered with is false as I've had no reason to even look at my fuse box until this issue occurred on February 9, 2017.  The fuses can be easily taken out with two fingers and/or some tweezers depending on the size of the fuses.  As I've stated before, it does not benefit me to tamper and damage my own fuse box.  I have been without my vehicle since February 9, 2017 and have either had to rent a vehicle or borrow a vehicle to drive to work and bring my child to daycare.  I do not benefit from missing days at work and my child missing days at daycare.  I have to pay for daycare whether my child is present or absent.  It is my understanding that a USED fuse box should have never been installed in my vehicle as it is an electrical device and a NEW OEM fuse box would have better benefited the vehicle.  Anything can fail immediately or over time depending on the condition of the item and how it was initially installed.

[redacted] had her vehicle towed in to our shop without our knowledge that it was coming in on 3/16/17. We got her name and phone # from the tow company and called her to ask her to come in and go over her issue on her car. She came in on 3/17/17 and explained what she felt was wrong on her car. We contacted [redacted] Insurance to have their rep come and look at it. After the fuse box was inspected by our facility and the [redacted] rep the conclusion was that the fuse box had been tampered with and it appears to be fresh damages. we are submitting photos showing the condition it came to us in. The vehicle since repaired in March of 2015 has been driven 29,966. miles. The fuse box in it's condition would not have been able to be driven the miles it has now. I have also added the response letter from the [redacted] claims supervisor who has also tried to communicate by phone with her to no avail. [redacted] the manager here has tried several times to have a conversation with Ms. [redacted], but she will not listen to what he is trying to explain to her and she will not speak a response to you when you are on the phone with her. We have to constantly say " Hello.... are you there?" several times and you think she hung up so we hang up the phone.  She calls back very rudely and says we hung up on her, and we explain to her that we are trying to talk to her but that she does not respond in any way, so we thought she had hung up. She has done this to several of the employees on the phone here. If we felt that this was accident related to her original claim, or a faulty part we would take care of the problem. The [redacted] supervisor will also respond on our behalf on this complaint if you would like to contact him. Thank you, Bruce's Body Shop
