I have worked with this agency for around 6 months now as an independent contractor.

Let me first start with the positives:

-This business pays really well.
-They follow other legitimate businesses and pay bi-weekly. One of the more better agencies I have worked with, to date.

Negative:

The payroll of this business seems to swindle.

In the past, getting to know this agency and background, I understood that some BAs had taken advantage by buying products that were not related to the demo they were doing and this could have leeched more money than they should have been reimbursed for; however, the stricter policies are making the process very bogged down and unreliable.

It is no problem to myself if I have to do an event and get paid. No problem there. When I purchase products out of pocket, this is where the problem starts. Payroll always assumes that people are swindling money and for that, they nitpick on the receipts. I asked them to specifically talk to my market manager, should any questions arise.

Most recently, I had bought product to conduct a demo. The first email coming back was, the receipts are NOT dated. Fine. They give me a deadline and I send the receipts back with date clearly shown. I get my check, in form of direct deposit today WITHOUT reimbursement. I contact them back and they say, they need me to forward it again. Are you serious? The excuse is: we have hundreds. Well, if a BA has to do an event to pay the agency well and we slip up, we get our pay checks cut; but if god forbid the agency is in the wrong, we have to live with it. If this business is truly Revdex.com accredited, they should be doing their part as if they would get penalized as bad as the policies they set for their workers. Revdex.com makes them a legitimate business. The reimbursement will be cut next week; however, I feel that they all ready violated their guidelines on paying promptly when all expectations were met. I expect some form of compensation for the tardiness of the payment as I would be penalized for, if I was late on submitting my event reports to them, of at least $5 on top of reimbursement amount.
