Buterick Bulkheading

An estimate was given to the [redacted] on the 9th of May Their deposit was received on June 19th We then had to wait for the [redacted] s' to get the DEP dredging permit Once all permits are in hand we schedule the job Bulkhead work is always booked to months out The job was done on December 1st and invoiced on the 10th I am awaiting the photos that our Forman took on the job They show the bage with the collected dredge spoils As soon as I receive them I will forward to you.There is no indication damage done to the [redacted] s' bulkhead was our doing Their bulkhead is in poor condition and needs replacement Age, deterioration and "Sandy"are the cause of the hole As a courtesy we agreed to repair the hole while doing the dredging Unfortunately we had a colder winter than and our employees were not able to get in the water to do the repair We are aware that the bulkhead still has a hole and needs to have another board nailed up to stop the leak.As soon as my employee has finished for the day he will go through his phone and forward the pictures of the dredging work and I will forward to you We do intend to patch the hole asap

I am rejecting this response because:The work was NOT completed. Our property had fill and stones on it before [redacted] did our neighbors bulkhead. We were told our property would be brought back to it's original state.We WERE told by one of [redacted] 's employee's that our bulkhead had been pierced in the normal course of business and that it would be fixed. Yes, our bulkhead is old. We have sheathing behind the bulkhead,it is not as bad as Ms. [redacted] says. Neither here nor there,We the realized our slip was in need of dredging and figured [redacted] was going to be there, we should have them do all the work. [redacted] sent 4 men over one day in the fall of 2014. They had planned to shovel out our slip. Fortunately we were there and said no, it needs to be dredged. Since that time [redacted] WILL NOT return calls. it took this complaint to hear from them. I'd like to be informed when the men will come and complete the work and make it my business to be at this house. I had asked [redacted] that back in the fall. I was told that wasn't possible. Makes it very difficult as as a home owner to know what has actually been done vs. what is said to have been done. I would have liked to have been there the day [redacted] dredged.When the work is completed I will release this complaint.

Attached please find the photo taken by our employee and sent to the office at noon on 12/1/ This is routinely done so we can see the progress of projects throughout the day We continued the dredging operation throughout the afternoon While your house may not be visible you will recognize your neighbors properties I am sure at least one of them will remember our being there

I did not have bulkhead work done so I don't understand what all the pillings are doing on the deckIn addition, my deck is a brick red colorSo, I don't think this is my homeBut, it is my lagoonPlease, just come do the work, fix the hole, put fill back in and rocks so my property will be returned to the way it was before you did my neighbors bulkhead

Review: We contracted with this company may 2014. Gave them a deposit. And they have yet to do the work.In addition while Butterick replaced my neighbors bulkhead they damaged ours. Butterick was to fix that as well.I got a permit from DEP as requested, that permit will run out in September.I've called a number of times. They say they will do the work. Then they say they did the work. Now they do not return calls.In order to use a boat, I need to dredge my slip. The damage in the slip is due to hurricane Sandy.The work was NOT DONE!Desired Settlement: I want Butterick to come and do the work we contracted for and gave a 30 % deposit.
