Mr[redacted] told a story of how the truck was stuck in a "DITCH" during a recent snow storm and while trying to get out he created damage to his front differential. upon inspection of said vehicle there was internal damage to the FRONT Differential.  He requested his insurance adjuster to...

review this damage. The adjuster came to the shop and asked questions and TOOK pictures of said damaged parts in question. The insurance adjuster asked me what his "STORY" of how this occurred, I shared Mr[redacted]'s  story with the adjuster only to find out this was not truly the case at all and this problem may have persisted prior and that he NEVER was stuck in a "DITCH" as he earlier stated as the "true" information was later told to the tech who went on a second ride with Mr[redacted] on his return visit for a similar "noise" he was experiencing several days later. It was determined that the vehicle had a bad wheel bearing in addition his tires are missed matched and of different circumference which can cause the 4 wheel drive to bind up.  Mr[redacted] refused to listen to any reasonable explanation and insinuated that we didn't correct his original issue or replace parts. Mr[redacted] was most likely upset at his insurance company for denial of claim. I assume Prior to any work being done on this vehicle both the first time and the second time his verbal authorization was given! In addition Mr[redacted] was given the option to take the vehicle somewhere else, he did not. I made pricing concessions in order to help Mr [redacted] and extended my sincere apologies for any misunderstandings.
