The customer originally applied for a loan online and claimed that her income was higher than it actually isThe bank that approved the loan used the income she put down to calculate the approvalShe picked up the car on the 4th of June clearly signing a credit app stating that all the
information she provided was accurateAlly Financial has a policy that once a contract is signed and car is picked up by the customer they call the customer to verify they have the car but they also verify incomeBoth of these became a problem once Ally reviewed the incomeShe put a higher amount down then she actually receives plus she never returned Allys phone call until the 15thDuring this time we here at Butler Auto were out a car and could not get funded by the bank due to her inaccurate informationDue to her privacy I've decided not to be more specific but she was clearly in the wrong hereWe sought advice from our attorney and *** bank as how to get our money due for this carShe did return a few calls but never followed through with any request to clear up the income problem so we could get paidBasically there are no apologizes from us a Butler Auto since we were out over $7,for over daysOnce she picked up the car on Saturday the 4th The title was turned over to New York State on Monday the 6th to be put into her name( We were notified on the 7th from *** that she had used a income amount) Yet we had lacked a major portion of the payment from herAfter several days of not hearing back from her we were advised to call law enforcement to check on herOnce they went to her home she went to her bank and payment was cleared up within a few hoursShe tells us that the Bank employees were shocked we called law enforcement yet as anyone knows if she had taken $from that bank for days, that bank would have done much worse then what we didAll we requested was to be paid for the vehicleThank you, Mike ***

We here at Butler Auto Sales are very satisfied and proud of how we handled this situationWe were not legally required to do anything but did offer a refund so that our interaction with Ms*** would stopWe will not be responding to any further Revdex.com messages about this situation as we did go above and beyond and are ending up with the same outcome as when she did have the car and that is she refuses to be satisfiedPlease review Butler Auto Sales, inc recordAs far as her refund goes we paid to Dmv on her behalf not what she statedshe had the car for over days and we asked for no reimbursement for miles drivenThank you

Dear Revdex.com, this is a clear situation of a hostile customer that has fabricated a situation in order to slander our business. Clearly this never happened the way she has described. The Revdex.com has a great problem and dispute resolution program but from time to time the Revdex.com is used by consumers to try to...

punish a business that the consumer is unhappy with. This customer has been very unhappy from day 1 of picking up this car for one reason or another. Yes the car did cost $5,500.00 and yes I feel she was very demanding and erratic with our employees over non warrantied and non mechanical items on the car.  If the blanks in the complaint mean there was swearing in the conversation then she has clearly lied terribly as there was no swearing. There are many quotes in this complaint that were never said so you can very clearly see that there is no real way to reason with her. Of course I would not say to her that she did not spend enough money to give you the right to speak to me??? Very strange??  She was so demanding and unhappy with this car we offered her a full refund so that she could purchase elsewhere since she had been clearly unhappy with her purchase. But the manner in which she described that I bought the car back never happened and we have several people here that were involved that cannot believe her account of the situation. There is clearly no winner in this but we at Butler Auto Sales, Inc sell over 600 vehicles per year with a proud Revdex.com rating of A PLUS, a spotless record with the New York State DMV, because this stuff just doesn't happen. Yes we wanted to give her money back because it was clear every time we dealt with her she was abusive verbally and demanding to our employees and actually the local Hyundai dealer. What more could we do than voluntarily refund her money? As far as sales tax New York State will refund her the tax and the $120.00 Dmv fees were for new plates she took with her and can be used on a car that she buys or if she turns them in New York State will provide the refund. I have never had a complaint like this in 17 years of owning Butler Auto Sales, Inc and do not take it lightly but buying the car back from this customer was the right way to handle things and distance her from my employees.  Thank You, Mike [redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I did in fact return the plates to DMV so that I could terminate my full coverage insurance on this vehicle. After calling DMV the registration for this vehicle was $44 for two years registration.  It was $39 plus $5 for having a lien on the vehicle.  I will be refunded  half of the $39 as per DMV. So my refund amount from them will be $19.50. Yet I was charged $120 on the sales receipt. Please view the 2 pictures I've submitted of the sales receipt and the DMV slip showing the plates were destroyed.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Regards,[redacted]

Revdex.com spoke to [redacted] at business and the following was relayed: My company and the warranty company did exactly as they were supposed to do. We have not seen this car in our shop since October 2014. This is resolved, the customer has picked up his car and is happy.
